I saw this film about a month ago and it turned out to be rather good little thriller. Gut-wrenching, superbly acted edge-of-your-seat thriller with a solid storyline and great underlying message to boot. Will re-watch at some point.

Like _Hyperions_ , the trailer doesn't really represent the genre correctly. _Shut In_ is not a horror movie. Not scary at all. And _Hyperions_ is not a action movie. Both are character dramas. Going into a movie with the correct expectations is critical for enjoyment (at least for me)

While it is uncommon to drop a trailer for a movie released months ago, it does make sense in this instance; it is essentially free advertising for something they still sell, and a few new people are bound to join.
I wish they would sell DVDs... Or let you pay per view it. I can't afford to join the site but I want to own Hyperion, and Gena Coranos movie. If their movies are ONLY on their website that is way too restrictive for most movie goers, and they will never be that big

Their non-political content is too sparse to merit a subscription just for that (with all the streaming services, who would pay for one that has only a few movies when every other service has hundreds of options?) Those that are interested in the political stuff enough are likely already subscribed. I don't see how their films are going to bring in enough additional subs to merit their cost to make. When Netflix/Amazon/HBO started, they already had a large library of content, DW doesn't. But I don't know the whole picture, maybe they have a plan that will work out.

Dipping it's toe into the _Anime industry, yo!_ There are dozens upon dozens of anime that fit into the spectrum, I could name five off the top o' my head right now; _Mobile Police Patlabor, Gunsmith Cats, Dominion Tank Police,_ and _Detective Conan_ & _Hyper Police_ for the kids~
So normally when people complain about editing with rapid cutting i roll my eyes, but this was not a pleasant trailer to watch. The editing was so jarring. -young person
D.J. Caruso DIDN'T direct "xXx" - Rob Cohen did. The second sequel "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" is directed by Caruso. Better to mention "The Salton Sea" or "Taking Lives" or "Eagle Eye" in addition to "Disturbia" instead.
Is it one of those psychological thrillers with the twist at the end where we find out that it was all just in her head the whole time? I really hope not!
