Today November 25th added a new zone to yala National park, previously it call The Lunugamvehera National Park but today onwards it also under yala national park this new block is famous for birds. After adding new block total area belong to yala national park will be 125,070 hectares.
The pictures of the wildlife on your safari were great. The roaming of the most beautiful and rare species of animals makes the park truly unique. And your every glowing review makes this park even more amazing about its true purpose.
It was a lovely experience and I am glad you enjoyed the video! These type of places are magical and I glad we still have some. Let's hope around the world we can protect them more for future generations! :)

Good luck, all the best and stah safe my dear!! Hugs.xoxoxo Gams ❤️❤️😘🙏🙏👍
Hello friend, Nice to meet you back. I'm sorry that you couldn't watch any leopards in Yala National Park, but just give it another try, you can watch them or may be another wildlife park in Sri Lanka, you can watch leopards my friend
This is the second video of yours that I watched - YT suggested the first one yesterday. I like the format of them very much - will be watching more :). Thank you for visiting and safe travels here in Sri Lanka, Ráchelle!
That’s so cool to hear you found the videos because TH-cam recommended them! Now I am also curious to know what the first video was haha. Thanks for tuning in! 😁
You have seen a peacock spreading its tail. This is to mainly attract its female partner. I've heard long long ago when a peacock does this, thats a sign of a rain. I never cared about this fact. Because it was very famous folk words in Sri Lanka from generations to generations. But, today when I was watching your this video I understood that its just not a saying. That's a very correct fact.❤ And I know this forest very well. But you were very lucky as you could spot wild elephants which is very very rare in this Yala. Last time when we were there we couldn't spot any. So you were so lucky. Thanks for this video.
Hahahah.. You have just failed only once my dear whereas I had failed six times and finally I saw the much sought-after leopards myself on my seventh attempt... 🐅🐅❤️😂6⃣ Tnx and this is another exciting video as usaul dear.. Also, you explained very well about the "leopard project" in which you have mentioned about the co-existence of the farmers, leopards and the cattle and it was so happy to see that now all of them live happily and peacefully after the introduction of pens by the leopard project and I guess the issue of leopards wandering out and killing the cattle had been resolved to some extent with this initiative .. 🐆🙏❤️👍 Tnx again for your wonderful efforts on this yala Odyssey and I am waiting with much anticipation for your next exciting tale of Odyssey, sooner rather than later, dear.. Hugs.xoxoxo n good weekend Gams❤️😘❤️😘
True dedication though to give it so many tries! And fantastic news you spotted one on the seventh attempt! That must have been incredible!! 😀 Yes, Project Leopard was very successful in the area even amounting to populations of cattle growing to large amounts, that is why they were able to pause there and hopefully move to a new region soon! I think it is important we remember that conservation goes hand in hand with the communities in the area. Thanks again for watching Gams! Next video is up tonight at 18:00 😎
Dear I like your behaviours and observations it looks like a sciencetist if yu love environment definitely yu are my hero. And blessed yu . Love the animals and environment more more more more more .
It makes anyone feel so excited to see leopards in Yala. For some reason I have always had the luck of many sightings in all of my visits to yala. in a way this is a good thing because it can be a reason for you to visit Sri Lanka again or visit yala again before you leave🙂. There is a 90% of a chance to see leopards if you do a full day visit to the park. Make sure to have a good river bath and lunch in the jungle next time.
Wooow that is incredible!! I will not have time to go to Yala anymore this trip I don't think, but I am planning to come back for another trip in the future. This country is too beautiful to experience in just 3 months haha

Lunugamvehera was connected with Yala? Didn't know that. Had a good safari there. It was very unpopular so nobody really came there
@@glue12324 yes yesterday only government announce that extensions. Yes that park unpopular even among locals.

Hi
Many Leopards are killed in traps when they wonder out to human habitations looking for food. Its a crime but it happens.
Very unfortunate, we will need more and more solutions to try and keep humans and wildlife co-existing in peace 😊
