Hey thank you so much for this video I'm going to get into this whole thing I have a friend says he knows where honey hole is on private property so if there's really anything there we're going to want some really good toys
If you built a stand with two slides going in opposite directions, that peaked between the two sides, as well as a feed system on top (I’m thinking auger driven hopper) this could process a lot of material very quickly. The only catch would be that jamming from the magnet. But a quick brush would clear that.
Sweet video Mining Magnets has some pretty cool stuff I can’t wait to try one myself 👍🏻looks to work really good. It might not do 100%of all black sands but still the time it saves is crazy. It’s defiantly a time saver 👍🏻👍🏻
I saw KleshGitars review this and he rigged a bucket with a tiny hole above the funnel for a hands free run. It worked well. He also had a large pan with a cup inside to catch the black sands, the pan caught the non mag
I am probably asking a silly question, but I will ask anyway. I recently discovered magnetic sand and I was wondering where can it be found? Random beaches or specific mines? Also, does it always have black and gold sand mixed together? Thank you.
Black sand when it comes to a gold bearing stream is generally made up of ground up hematite and magnetite. It is heavy and is usually an indicator that there will be gold nearby although not always. I don't know if the black sand on the beaches is the same stuff. I have heard that some of that is made up of volcanic materials such as lava. I do know that there are some beaches out there that contain gold. The best way to know is to pan some out and see. After all, gold is where you find it.
In mining speak black sand is a term that means the heaviest and finest of the material you’re separating the gold from. Black sand is heavy like gold so they tend to end up in the same places. However it’s like a byproduct of mining there is nowhere that I know of where there’s a black sand beach that is the gold bearing type of black sand. Some beaches have black sand but it’s black for different reasons and has nothing to do with gold.

He changed the design. I think the new one works a little better but it might not hurt to reach out and ask if he will make you one. He is a really nice guy and answers his emails.

Boy that new toy is pretty impressive .
I like the spin off tool for wet sand cleaning before I leave the field. I hate carrying heavy buckets back to the camp.
I do like the spin of tool, it works great.
Nice video brother!!! Love his gear
Thanks for watching.

Not a bad idea. I am working on something else but I may look into something like that.
Yes, Klesh Guitars just used this contraption at the end of his latest video. It should be a hands free operation. Worth a watch!
I have not seen that one yet but I will check it out.
@@802OutdoorAdventures it looks like the same machine but I could be wrong. I apologize if so.
@@LandscaperLife Same machine, just have not seen his video yet. All good.

Green is evergreen it's excellent 👌
I’m gonna need a 12 hour video of that close up but with more light. Thanks😂
Great review, now you got me thinking 🤔😃
Could a set of timed electromagnets draw the black sand progressively down the shute and off the end ?
Excellent
I found using a two inch paint brush to move the black sands, no risk of knocking any material over to the clean side.
Fascinating!
A bunch of OOPS moments - Love it
