Bugsy McGraw I remember from the old NWA, in that little studio. I remember his elbow drops. That’s about it. And yup he looked like a drunk aviator lol

One time my uncle was talking about the Gilligan's Island where the guy flew the wrong way or whatever & landed his plane on the island...I was like,"oh, you mean Bugsy McCgraw?"He was like,"you mean, wrongway Feldman?" I always thought that wrong way Gilligans Island guy was Bugsy McGraw ...he looked like him with those aviator glasses & stuff.

buggsy i remember from the magazines when i was a child in nyc..we didnt have nwa or world class so in the northeast area or nyc itself it was magazines many bought to learn of those territories. when i was around 11 i think the nwa finally appeared in nyc on wpix 11. it was the power hour. got to see buggsy, porkchop and others but it was verry little they were used. most were then on wccw world class on a uhf station in ny that landed in that market before the nwa got on wpix 11. there buggsy was used more. it was fun to watch buggsy wrestle. he was just the crazy wild guy sometimes coming to the ring in a suit coat and hat or tie lol. he didnt win all the time but for a guy with his persona he was good.

BMG was a United States champ in the California NWA. Might have been intriguing to see him as the outlaw lunatic brother of Rick McGraw in the same manner of Buzz and Brett Wayne Sawyer. Both McGraws were part of "The First Family" at different times in Memphis. Miss the late great Rick very much and have fond memories of him from Southeastern and the very early 1980s WWF. Great to have a shout out for Bobby Cash and Iceman Parsons on here as well.B.W.

nomikes: Is it just my imagination or did the sport's more colorful rogues to put it mildly set up shop in The Northwest as a general rule? Moondog Lonnie Mayne, Buzz Sawyer, Bugsy McGraw, Playboy Buddy Rose, Lord Jonathan Boyd, Billy Jack Haynes, some guy named Roddy Piper...every last one a real card and all made the Portland territory at one time or another.😂B.W.

@@madbrowniac7871 The Northwest was a training ground for many wrestlers, a good payday for wrestlers that had outlived there welcome in other territories and was a very reasonable area in terms of travel distances to venues. It was basically a universe to itself and, it seems, a good place to work

He did this in Memphis after Skip Young. He really got over as SBS after losing a loser leave town match. He used the name, but wasn't trying to act like he was the same wrestler. Everyone knew it was Koko and his run as SBS was the heels trying to unmask him to prove it was Koko not honoring his word to leave town
