Her own sister said she was "young" which I interpreted to mean that some of the war issues traumatized her and she is stuck in a kind of stunted childhood. It was the way the word "young" was said that was a red flag to me. When one has had a bad life and is suddenly treated like a princess, the Cinderella syndrome sets in. Everywhere she went Messi was treated like a princess. This kind of thing is not natural. It's especially not natural when one is beginning a love story with a girl from a wartorn land who is a refugee. When she wanted to use the place where rice is dried as a place to have coffee, I wondered what kind of trendy sophisticated magazine she was reading and who was putting strange thoughts in her head. Secondly, no one is perfect. Xiao Bai talks a lot and is a bit rough around the edges but he is embarrassed about how she keeps buying rich stuff and he has to take money from his fans. Understandable. He doesn't want to livestream anymore. But Messi is in her own princess fantasy and doesn't understand that taking money is embarrassing him. There really should be a button on the Douyin app that turns off generous gifts. Then the love could grow naturally and poor guys and poor refugee girls wouldn't get trapped by fame and money. I am Zambian I stayed and worked in a refugee camp , its not easy for them you can't move about anyhow and a lot of other things I would not want to type here(it was a wonderful experience staying with them because I learnt a lot and changed my way of thinking)
