Started investing crypto with Nathan about 3 months ago and I must say it's the boldest decision I've taken since recently. I've made over $573k in profits.
I just coded it on pine script, this strategy on the same chart as shown in the video (Eth/usd, 1h time frame)
From January 1, 2020 to today has a gain rate of 51% with an account gain of 36% and a drawdown of 15%. It doesn't work as much in the long run, don't fall for it

Did a quick 30 trade test with this on the 1hr cadusd pair from feb 2023-jan23. Got a 60% winrate. not bad so will do more testing

Back testing does not prove the profitability of strategy or EA, only live forward trading. I've been buying robots which on backtest are making me millions on live trading lose the accounts.
I think we need to combine auto support and resistance where we get a good entry and and catch good moves
I think that from time to time you miss to inform how long you need to get those 100 trades, it is very important info to all.
Back testing started 15 Mar 21 and finished 25 Apr 21, so that's 41 days. That equates to 4.9% per day compounded or 14.9% linear (profit taking). That's good performance, but not the best. Nick
@@Welwynnick no freakin way it only took 41 days for 100 trades on the 1hr TF. You cannot base on the quick period he shown during the backtest.
You're right, he only got to 4 trades by 25 Apr, so that's really not good. Shouldn't have to dig through the frames to find out. We do need to know how long to make 100 trades. I keep asking for this as well.

You dont even need to watch this to know its complete shight. He'd use it and be retired a billionaire if it were even close to true, if you cant trade, write a book or do a youtube telling others how to trade, oldest trick in the game. Dont fall for hindsight bs people.

Thanks great video! I'm conflicted about using recent swing high/low to determine your stop-loss and price target because I've noticed that when the price is far away from the most recent swing you get a huge price target, which could be harder to reach since the price has already moved significantly.
On the flip side when your entry price is close to the recent swing high/low in theory this should be the spot with the best risk/reward ratio because you should have a good amount of upside and limited risk to the downside. However, because you are setting your price target at 1.5 times distance to the swing you end up with these pitifully small positions and you leave a ton of potential gain on the table.

All these strategies are useless in real trading. They only work on history, because you adjust the indicators to the time of your backtest.

I looked at those indicators, what about filtering ranging market mate? you can enter a trade and hang in ranging market for 2 days not knowing what is next... I solved that problem with your first pullback strategy without any additional indicators. Just added something of my own.

I tested this indicator, I don't know but it's not clear where to make an entry, best to use 2 emas crossing, then pullback, and then entry is much precise.

Given that most crypto exchanges don't allow short selling, I find most indicator strategies very misleading. New crypto traders will soon find their accounts dwindling in current market conditions.

All this has no meaning if you don't put the time took you to do it, every video people asks and you don't seem to care, I will unsbscribe if next video has no time, and I don't want to be forced to register in trader Edge just to see the time.
