PSA- Stay from the Agilite helmet cover. Ordered one for my L Ballistic, they sent an XL Opscore one and said they were the same, cloth spread way over the rails and sucked in general.
I agree the team Wendy harness is phenomenal. I loved the two I’ve had in the past but for the price, config, fit, and comfort of the caiman setup I didn’t feel the need to upgrade or change to the TW boa system. Maybe in the future I will but for now I’m just gonna see how this one performs and see if it’ll break over time. Then I’ll switch over.
@@LegionPreparedness there are 2 alternatives you get off eBay that come from China the raptor tactical and the fma both are great for the money but still not a tw. But they are good for the price point. I just feel the team wendy is a must have at this point.
Great review of a helmet I've been keeping an eye on since it was first announced. Does the back sit as low down as the Ops Core Maritime or is it shorter like the Ops Core Bump?
@@LegionPreparedness thanks for the input mate. I have experience with the Ops Core but not with the Team Wendy and unfortunately everyone seems to compare the Caiman with the Team Wendy. I appreciate the compliment, the logo is fairly new for this year

I have not. I honestly would just buy the ballistic helmet not the hybrid. The way the plates sit/attach to the helmet interfere with the use of lights. So you can lose the ability to run certain lights. It’s an awesome concept but I’m not completely sold on it. With that said you can probably solve that by using the picatiny attachment method for lights. It’s not my preferred method but it is an option
@@LegionPreparedness that was pretty much my thought but wanted to get your take. I've worked with a few guys who do a gear change every night/morning, with a slick JPC2 and the AXL chest rig adapter with rig overtop, LPVO on the rifle, and naked ballistic helmet during the day. When the sun goes down they QD the optic into their NODs pouch and mount an aimpoint, ditch the plates for just the chest rig, and swap out for a bump helmet with the rails/lights/shroud. @@williamwimmer5473 it’s a sweet system I’m really been interested in it and see how it develops. I’m going to give it a little more time and then pursue it in the future.
Not on this helmet. Those mounts are typically setup and configured for ballistic helmets. I don’t see and issue running it on the ballistic version of the caiman but I don’t think it will work with the bump helmet unless you modify the mount

They should

Yes the hybrid allows you to attach ballistic plates to it so it can be setup as a bump or ballistic helmet
