Nice tutorial, I used 3 Public Static NAT's for NVR monitoring for Ubiquity Edgerouter 6p - works well. your video helped me a lot. Thanks you...

Very nice video. I have a question. How would you add specific source in WAN IN rule for NAT 1:1. I would like to have a list of outside IPs that i let use this NAT rule. (multiple of them). At the moment i can put in Source tab only one IP. Is there any way how can i write multiple diffrent outside IPs in Surce address tab?

Thank you for the great videos on Ubiquiti gear!
I followed the instructions in this 1:1 NAT video precisely, but unfortunately did not have success. When I attempt to access the machine by public IP, I am getting a connection refused.
I was wondering if the configuration I have in place for my ISP could be preventing your advice from working. In addition to the physical eth0 interface, I have vlan (eth0.201) and pppoe0 interface. Could these be causing an issue?
If so, I would appreciate a pointer to any documentation that could guide me to get this working. Thanks!
And thanks again for all of your videos-- they're excellent.

from a freshly reset router, I have followed this second by second several times and i don't think it works. I even matched all the ip addresses, etc, to try and make it identical. I wish the end of this video demonstrated that it did actually work, by attempting a connection.

Hey Willie, thanks for this, great video.
I'm looking to translate a second public ip on eth0 and translate it directly to eth2 so a tenant in my building connected to that port can use their own Router without a double NAT situation, how would this be done?
    Thanks

Hi Willie, i am looking for a similar solution as mentioned above: 2 WAN (eth0 and eth1) and 2LANs (eth2 and eth3). But the second WAN shall be forwarded to another router and that router is supposed to get the public IP. In addition to that, we want to do routing between eth2 and eth3. I mean, if the user on eth3 (the second WAN behind own router) is trying to connect to a device on eth2. How could that be, and can it be achieved with POE-5? We do not want the traffic to go out to the ISP and then back again. Thanks in advance!

What if its not static ip and dynamic ip. Fiber modem cum router DHCP to edge router x to another router wan. It working fine and after some time net disconnects. when trying to hit the edge router its hitting the 2nd router and no internet as well. Only way to get net is to reboot the 2nd router. Its x4s from netgear. setup is ISP via fiber modem wired to edge eth0 and eth1 to x4s WAN.
ISP assign dhcp and holds the wan to it. So any request needs to forwarded to edge via port forwarding. it also holds a firewall. So as edge and x4s. So does the setup needs some tweaking.
    the setup is
    ISP Modem: 1.1.1.x
    Edge router 100.100.100.x
    x4x router os 100.100. 101.x
Do i needs still 1:1 nat. I keep getting this weired disconnection and edge is no more accessible other than x4s login pops up for edge ip.

Every time I follow the exact steps and I try to access the static IP externally it redirects to the edge router. What am I doing wrong? Or does this differ from doing a DMZ or port forwarding? I have 5 static IP addressed from my ISP and have one of them configured in the Edge Router to point to a local IP. I'm trying to access my ESXi management outside the network on a external IP address. Thanks for the help.

new to EdgeRouter, 6p. followed your steps, OK, had same issue. NAT a wan address, port 80 to internal testing server. works from outside network, but inside network get EdgeRouter login. if you could give a little more info on above would be great not to sure were to find 'wan in rules' or 'hairpin nat'.
next on the list will be adding DHCP option 43 or 128 (for mitel phone system) - do you have a video on this?
      thanks
