Violation means that participants don't abide by the maxims of conversation: If you lie, you violate the maxim of quality, if you mess up and say something really awkward, you violate the maxim of manner. In general, the cooperative principle and the flow of successful communication gets impaired. Now, flouting is a special kind of violation where you violate the maxim but you do it intentionally and in such a way that it is obvious you're violating it. In a way, you communicate by flouting a maxim, but you also communicate a bit more, depending on what exactly you do. This "a bit more" is what is called implicature. In my opinion, a good example for flouting is sarcasm, because sarcastic things are often the opposite of what you mean (quality maxim violated), but sarcasm often works with the polar opposite of what is meant, and this huge difference in meaning is what makes it obvious. The implicature of sarcasm would be to communicate that the previous utterance was in some way unfitting or idiotic. Hope that helps. :)

I like the video, and the explanation, but I don't fully agree with the cooperative principle. For example your Asian boss might violate the relation maxim (but you could also call this an opt out), because he isn't interested in talking about you, but he likes to talk about himself instead and likes to 'show off' that he is the leader/boss. And because he is your boss, and you respect him, you shut your mouth, and listen to him, because people tend to give much more value to status in Asian countries. I hope I made myself clear. Another problem might occur when two people from different cultures talk with each other. If an Englishman says "That is interesting" it could in reality mean "That is completly bullshit". But people from different cultures generally speaking don't know this, so assume that the listener is really interested.
I do not like the last sentence 'Now You knwo how to comunicate in the correct way'... By flouting or violating these maxims the conversation starts to be interesting and 'salted' :)
