Hi sweetie, I’m just wondering if there’s any product you recommend to clean leather bags? I have the YSL loulou puffer and I cleaned it with a special leather spray but the leather looks even duller than before. I’ve seen some videos about mink oil being good? 🩷
@By_Aleeya Hi Aleeya, sorry I don’t have any handbag cleaning product to recommend I’m afraid. I normally just use old tshirt to buff the bags to get rid of any dust. If you’ve already used cleaning product on your lovely YSL loulou bag, I wouldn’t use more cleaning product on it as it might weaken or ruine the leather. Since you’ve already used cleaning product on the bag already, the bag might still be damp if you’ve just cleaned it. But if the bag is completely dry, then use an old t-shirt that’s in a very soft jersey fabric, and make sure it’s also completely dry, then use the t-shirt to buff (small circling movement) a small area of your bag cos it might bring the shine back? Try a small area on the back of the bag first, if it does work, then buff the entire bag. Good luck and pls let me know how you’re getting on. 🤞🏼💕
@By_Aleeya mink oil is good but it might soften the leather too much which might subsequently distort the shape of your bag. Mink oil is great for stretching/soften leather. Try buffing your bag first.
@@Sanecyndy aww thank you so much for your comprehensive response Cyndy. I really appreciate it and I thought to ask you because I recalled that is how I discovered your channel! I was once looking for tips on how to soften the straps on some shoes and one of your videos had the best tips ☺️. I’ll give this a try. Have a lovely weekend 🩷
Happy weekend lovelies!
Do you own a GUCCI MARMONT GG bag? What do you think of it? 🧡
