Thank You, Thank You!! I am a 76 year old land lubber from Western Washington. Never, never, in all of my days would I be able to travel as You. I have a large screen computer monitor that allows me to engulf myself into Your adventures. I watch each episode several times. Thank you, Thank You!!
Me too! Love the big screens with ocean scenes! We are looking to buy in Washington, been tooling around zillow all areas but I'm kinda liking the Western shores. Just felt compelled to share. Cheers!
Out of all the travailing and sailing channels on TH-cam I think the Gone with the wynns is the best I have watched your channel from the beginning and one of the best story’s I have ever watched and you guys are very inspirational started playing the ukulele and saveing up too travel too To a smaller island one day !
Thanks to all for your concern - just want to let everyone know that we're perfectly fine. Curiosity and crew are well south of all the hurricane activity, and the tsunami warnings were for the Pacific coast of Panama (not the Atlantic where we are). Our thoughts are with everyone who is and will be impacted by Irma, and for the poor residents of the Leeward Islands who are going to be hit *again* this weekend by Hurricane Jose. Thoughts and prayers going out for everyone's safety.
We dont wear those type PFDs- uncomfortable. You can buy the type water skiers wear, are like an actual vest and are really nice looking👍. The water around Florida's east side can have zero visibility sometimes. Asians (chinese) own most stores on Oahu too.
Loved this episode! I used to live in Panama for about 3 years when we were stationed at the American military base. It no longer exists but I have some very fond memories of Panama. Try to get into the rainforest also. You'll see some amazing wildlife. (Bring mosquito repellent.) If you're lucky, you'll get to see sloths. We would always find them hanging from our water pipes in the carport. Enjoy Panama!
You absolutely need to go to the San blas islands ! Water so clear it is like a swimming pool and you'll get tired of eating lobster ! Take lots of butter with you ! Veggie boat comes by at least once a week ! Thanks for sharing 😎
I was sad when you gave up the RV life but it seems you are really connected to sea life. I love your underwater photography and can't wait to see more. Keep it up!
Lovely video as always guys. This is random, but I would LOVE to see more videos about how you cook/eat in a day on the boat. The food Nikki makes always looks amazing, but I'm more curious as to how long the fruits and veggies last, what you eat when you're running low, etc.
I've said it before but I'll say it again your videos keep getting better and better so entertaining so fun to watch your excitement is infectious keep having fun can't wait for the next installment thanks for sharing
I watch because I like the feeling of your videos, you edit them well and use fitting music, you follow your curiosity with panache, and, between the two of you, are 100% attractive (80/20? 70/30?). You clearly consider yourself lucky and blessed, and your modest and cheerful attitude is attractive. I am amazed that you picked a crew whose personalities seems to mesh so perfectly with yours. Continue to enjoy and celebrate the phase of life you are in, as you move forward to whatever you find, or whatever comes, next.
Thanks for another great video. I really enjoyed it. The underwater segments were psychedelic. So many extremely colorful and unusually shaped creatures. Reminded me of “Yellow Submarine”. The street life and shopping were so interesting. I feel I could Spanglish bargain in that culture. What a grand adventure you are on! Thanks for taking us along!
Do you anticipate the four of you hanging out together on your land excursions? It's so great you get along so well. You all seem super comfortable together and it's like you've been friends for years. 💕 btw...those underwater shots were incredible. I love the moon jellies!
Ahhhh Bocas. I got engaged last Feb in Bocas. You gotta go eat at the Hummingbird on Isla Colon. Nice taxi ride out of town. Enjoy it there. Check out the bat caves too.
One of your best IMO. Watching the snorkeling I was thinking how nice it would be to actually be there and still hear the music. So yeah... Amazon has gear for that, see underwater earbuds, players.
Be careful when dealing with people coming directly to your boat to collect money. The water is gorgeous once you pass the dark areas. Have fun, and be safe. Sandy and Jay Livesay
That's what I wonder about. Boats coming up to you in the middle of the night. I met an American couple in Bali who sailed all over the world. They were boarded by Pirates a few times. Scary all alone out there.
Did you send money or just ask your invisible friend for a spell? aka the least you could do. Remember, the invisible friend who didn't stop the hurricane is now your go to.
enjoyed the underwater footage - nice work! The first "banana" was a Plantain and is cooked - delicious on coals but I still always bought ripe ones, bringing back some happy memories, thanks.
The water was so different in the color and did not have the life like character to it. The coral was amazingly different also. The coral life was all new. I have not seen this on Nat. Geo. either. Great video and capturing of the life style in Panama. Super job and thanks for sharing this with us. AMAZING!!!!!
Hahaha.... liked your musical homage to Cpt Rick on Sophisticated Lady during your drone flight. And good job bringing a light down to really showcase the underwater colours.
There are a lot of things to see in Panama! They do have some pretty beaches; just not where you landed! There is a place called "Isla Grande" (Big Island), it is on the Atlantic Side. Snorkeling and diving should be great there.
That fruit you guys been holding on by the end of the video.. we call that in the philippines "atis" its at its best when fully ripen, very very soft to squeez. Hope u liked it too! I miss them a lot! Enjoy your adventures
Wow just wow ... glad you all made it in one piece! That was really something. I'm Really glad Capt'n Wynn is feeling better - those migraines are horrible. Nikki's red swimsuit looks great, but then you always look great. It's so much fun to follow your adventures...First video I saw was "Day In The Life". I was so inspired I bought an Rv and am now traveling around the USA and have visited some of the places you have been. I seriously doubt I'll ever have a boat though. You guys are so smart to have figured out your way of life as a career! It would be great to see and hear more from Dale and ???? (Sorry can't remember his name)! But as always I so enjoy following your adventures.
Tropical fruit, yum! ! While living in Costa Rica I would eat a fruit called manzana de Aqua also known as the rose Apple. If roses were a fruit this is exactly what they would taste like. Make sure you try one! I can't get them in Colorado, but I wish I could.
Devin- Saw those tanks mounted on the stern of the boat. Assume they came with the guest crew as their vlogs have shown them as being big time scuba divers. Haven't been used yet that I have noticed. Probably waiting for someplace where they can get air refills as there is no compressor on Discovery. I am guessing at all that of course and stand ready to be corrected if someone knows different. Ray
There are some fruits you need to try. The hairy looking round fruit are called rambutans in Southeast Asia they are delicious. The round blackish purple fruit with the hard shells are mangosteens. Try them you won't be disappointed.
We were just in Bocas del Toro, maybe same time or just a little before you. We shipped our truck over to camp while we were there. As soon as you saw that sign for the brewery I started laughing. I seek out breweries too, and we drove by that at least 10 time and it was never open.
I know this is probably from a few days ago but, the cabs in town are communal. Just wave one down and it's $1 per person. Our Friend Kim Stratten lives near the gas station. She has the 3 story pink condo. I realize it's a long shot but, if you meet tell her Frank and Steph say hello. Boca's is a little tough. It's really beautiful but the litter is out of control.. It's sad. Red Frog Beach is great.! Have fun and enjoy yourselves!
Gone with the Wynns nice, Ill def buy a shirt or hat.. if you make shirts.. a small request.. make them for Fat ppl.. hahaha Though my goal is to get back to normal human size.. right now, Im bigger than I want to be 😂😂😂
Awesome episode. I've heard and read a lot about Bocas Del Toro and was thinking of going there someday but I'm not too impressed based on this video footage. The out islands there are supposed to be awesome so I can't wait to see your next videos.
So great to see Justin and Dale travel with you for the Panama leg. I had already watched them crew for another yacht negotiating the canal, I think it was the Swedes Johan and Malin on SV/RAN. I have already binged on Adventures of an Old Sea Dog and watched him journey through the canal in the process. They all seem like friends already including your South African buddy even though I will probably never meet them! I thought I had never seen Justin move faster than when you entered the brewery but Dale was in the lead and that made me laugh. A really great Vlog guys, thanks!
Sea Weed is an excellent food product. It actually cures cancer. But that aside, your videos are awesome! I have to get my husband to watch, since we are both boating people both sail and motor boating, and have sailed around the British Virgin Islands, it is the best experience anyone can have, if your into that. Take care!
Thank goodness you went south. Everything is getting hit in a bad way. Up here in Dallas it's nice right now. And my mother said Odessa not to bad right now.
Thank You, Thank You!! I am a 76 year old land lubber from Western Washington.
Never, never, in all of my days would I be able to travel as You. I have a large screen

Guys, possibly your nicest underwater footage yet. The colors and the light made it very atmospheric. Also loved the squid swimming along.
I've been watching you folks for over 2 years now, and I just have to say (again) you two have taken your program to a whole new level.
The footage from that dive/snorkel was so amazing and gorgeous. Makes me anxious to get there before it could be all gone.
Great mix of drone and underwater filming. Thanks for sharing!
A brilliant couple love what you do, your friendliness, optimism and work ethic x
Love your continuing adventures, and the positive vibes you bring and openness to anything. Way to go!

Well done on a safe arrival in Panama! Those chilled glasses at 5:13, with the ice on the sides would be just what you guys needed!
Yea, right! That was AWESOME!
You're doing it! Glad you're taking us along. Took some courage to drink that shake. Wonder what was really in it.
Thanks for sharing, Panama a place to remember. Safe travels.
When I see your videos pop up I feel like my favorite TV show is on. Thanks for bringing us along!
Great underwater footage. It's interesting how when you shine a light on the underwater plants and creatures, their colors pop out.10:40
Beautiful underwater scenes !!
Glad you are safe from these hurricanes up north!!!!
You absolutely need to go to the San blas islands ! Water so clear it is like a swimming pool and you'll get tired of eating lobster ! Take lots of butter with you ! Veggie boat comes by at least once a week ! Thanks for sharing 😎
We love how your videos always look sharp, crisp and bright!

Very nice, great interaction with the locals Stay safe
I was sad when you gave up the RV life but it seems you are really connected to sea life. I love your underwater photography and can't wait to see more. Keep it up!
Do this again please! It's so cute when Singa comes up close to sniff the camera lens! :-)
Seaweed lady is priceless!
Absolutely amazing underwater shots! Beautiful!

Almost forgot.... Get drinks at blue coconut bar and make a day trip to Isla Zapatilla
Cameras working well!!! Colors are absolutely gorgeous!

It's a good thing you got out of the Caribbean for Hurricane Irma hit. Prayers go out to Florida and the Caribbean
Just thinking that myself... Glad you are safe and out of the way...
Did you send money or just ask your invisible friend for a spell? aka the least you could do. Remember, the invisible friend who didn't stop the hurricane is now your go to.

You guys are tops
I'm really glad that you guys listened to your insurance company and got far enough South to avoid Hurricane Irma.
Enlightening trip into town. You should feature your crew more. They're bright and photogenic. You're lucky to have them.
Awesome vids Wynns, keep them coming.
Hahaha.... liked your musical homage to Cpt Rick on Sophisticated Lady during your drone flight.

I'm learning a lot, and it's a great way to experience other cultures without leaving the safety of home.
My favorite video yet! Great job!
Glad to see you guys!
Boat shirts make the world go round!!
Another great t-shirt idea. One that actually says "Boat Schwag"
ha ha, I love it!
I thought it was "Boat Schway"?
David Dube' LOL yeah!
Do they have tshirts? I would buy pronto!
BJ Martin - yes I'd buy a "Gone with the Wynns" tshirt or hat with the teal/gold (?) colors and logo. You guys could really sell a lot of swag.
Glad ya'll made it out of the hurricane zone! Whew!
good morning to all

Awesome video and info! Happy Sailing!
I was there in Dec/Jan. Definitely brought back some memories.

that woman in the video so open and talkative reminds me of my experience in Puerto Plata. I can't wait to move there, only a couple more months.

Great video guys! Keep up the good work!
I hope you had a great time in Panama. I came here via your HSR trip from Xiamen to Yunnan video.
There are some fruits you need to try. The hairy looking round fruit are called rambutans in Southeast Asia they are delicious. The round blackish purple fruit with the hard shells are mangosteens. Try them you won't be disappointed.
We've tried them both and love them! The rambutans are almost like Lychee.
I see mango steins...just beautiful! Thank you 🙏 for sharing
Thanks for taking us along. No you can't make this up Jason.

Good thing you got out of the Bahamas when you did, Hurricane Irma is taking aim.

First glimps and some folks have some new (or new to me and I missed it before), beautiful hair highlights !! Bravo !! 😊👍👌
for such a long video, I am very surprised no commercials.
One thing to try is steamed green bananas with fresh fish in coconut milk and some chili and limes....
That smoothie sounds pretty good......All natural!
it's so great to see the drone shot again!!!! 😁
Awesome episode. I've heard and read a lot about Bocas Del Toro and was thinking of going there someday but I'm not too impressed based on this video footage. The out islands there are supposed to be awesome so I can't wait to see your next videos.

Nice job on the underwater photography. You got great color. Most reef shots just look blue grey.
