I build V8 engines and am happy with that power. No air crammer and you still make 500 hp, I have respect for sure. Engine building, to me, is exciting because you can see the results of innovation and thinking outside the box. God bless and great builds!
4Piston is the king of the Honda game, their parts are the real deal. My first experience with a 4P product was years ago when I bought a used 4P CNC B16 head off a forum to use in my modest B20Vtec setup. Prior to the head I was running a stock P72 casting and made 218whp and 146wtq. The setup was a 84.5mm 12:1 CP piston/Manley rod B20Z, stock P72 head with Supertech springs and Skunk2 Pro2's, Skunk2 intake manifold, 67mm TB, Hytech header, Thermal 3" exhaust and an S4C LSD tranny. Most bearings, gaskets and fasteners were all OEM except GE intake gasket and ARP head studs, rod bolts and flywheel bolts. After swapping the GSR head for the 4P B16 head and retuning, the setup churned out 238whp and 156wtq. It was a blast to drive and didn't cost a million dollars to build. These days my all motor mill is a K24a2 bottom end, K20a head/cams, ASP header, custom 3" exhaust, Custom 3.5" intake, ported RBC, Hondata tuned. Looking to add some DDTech custom cams and a 4P head in the near future and break 300whp with a stock shortblock.
@@kevinhawley962Nah. A factory B16 head is essentially a Type-R head without the polishing. For serious all-motor applications, a B16 head will outflow a B18 head.
Thats two weeks in a row, where the craziest thing I have seen on the internet for that week has been about crazy N/A Hondas. The porn industry is slippin.
Imagine creating a legendary 4 banger that's capable of 500hp with no forced induction and have it demonstrated by F1 driver Valteri Bottas,, damn Honda is really on a different league!!
When I saw this I was inspired. I have a AMC 2.5L now I have a goal to try to crank every ounce of horse power out of her. I love the fact that this is sutch a small engine and it's creating such a large amount of hp.
You realize that these guys never said what fuel they used, don't you? They most likely used race fuel. Also this engine is a ticking timebomb because of the power output. The engine in this video probably has a ridiculous compression ratio. Supercars have big engines for a reason.
OneTT I'd like to see the torque lol. Hondas might be able to make as much power as a V8 but a 500hp V8 is a lot more reliable and cheaper than a 500hp Honda and a lot more torque.
for people who doesn't know this engine was intended for race use only. it not street able.it use race gas. so pls don't ask if this engine reliable or not as it will require periodic maintenance
The K24 should have been the base for the development in the new NSX. They should have taken that motor, and made it perfect.. you add that with the turbo hybrid AWD.. and that car would be AMAZING, it would sound so freaking good and the performance would be insane
How do you determine your total intake length to start with? I see on high rpm engines, they are kept short. Can you explain a little. And for what i can see, the intake ports are very smooth finished. There is a lot of talk about the port finish on the intake side. Thank you
so that's the list of parts ill need to do on mine when i kswap mine. but also is it possible to get 500HP without boreing it out to 2.7L on a N/A or close to it?
Rod-ratio must be awful. Imagine the kind of rod angle that engine must have. This engine would not last more than a few dozen uninterrupted laps around a real track. Cool build though. I guess race fuel helps too.
If I can just buy these parts and slap it together im curious, roughly what does a 460-480 hp n/a k24 cost? My 2004 v8 BMW has a sad 333 and I am probably more into maintenance then a 500hp Honda.
hi boss I'm try to get 1995 corolla dx work on lol I'm going be real don't have much money but I'm trying to make it work what good way to start project off like this

Said like a true car enthusiast. My taste is all over . I love my American stuff but have so much fun with a 4cyl.
Dear Santa...
Fuck yeah...
I can only dream and pray to God that I get one of these
jajajajaa
LMAO, I want one now too. Got a NA 5S-FE in my Celica rn... 135 hp to the wheels 😅
Raising my son alone amd its tough but kid comes first. Cant wait till tax season definitley gettimg the reaper. Thats my late christmas present lol

That’s so sick
Since it’s been a while did you ever break 300whp?
b18 head swap to a b16 head less CC so more power for na xD
@@kevinhawley962Nah. A factory B16 head is essentially a Type-R head without the polishing. For serious all-motor applications, a B16 head will outflow a B18 head.
You could've went H23 or F 23 block H head and broke 300hp already with cams, intake, exhaust, and E85.
@@miniblad33 Not possible.

Fuc yeah.
I this motor in my life!! 500hp from an NA motor is insane! Great video! Keep the content coming!!

Jesus this is getting on towards hot modern 2-stroke levels of specific output. Crazy impressive.

I have a Honda type r it came with a k20 but I modified the engine , took the k20 top half and placed it on a k24 bottom half 🤤 😍 I love it .
Welcome to 15years ago
@@copperkeyracing6167 and the k24 headers XD.
I started with Honda 4 cylinders back in late 90's
... This is a great, beautifully made video!
Big thumbs up.. love the background music (=
These dudes just built an naturally aspirated engine that makes 185 hp/ liter, while most supercars average 100-120. Insane.
You realize that these guys never said what fuel they used, don't you? They most likely used race fuel. Also this engine is a ticking timebomb because of the power output. The engine in this video probably has a ridiculous compression ratio. Supercars have big engines for a reason.
Audi_ophile yeah that's because super car's are built to last.
OneTT it can be bulletproof...they take more then that boosted on stock rods and cast pistons.
Audi_ophile 191hp

106mm @ 10,000 rpm results in a mean piston speed of 35 m/s! Holy &$%#!!!
that's what she said
That is fucking insane, no lie. I wonder how many times you can run it to 10,000 before something lets go. Piston speeds are no joke.
@@matthewadkins9810 my guess would be about 5 minutes
@@matthewadkins9810 won't be long... the rods are aluminum...
metres or miles? lol
No one thought that was possible. Respect.
This is the real bunta engine screaming 11k rpm
Hell yeah!
My hat's off to You the power that You massaged out of the engine !
Great Work and content . Keep Us updated Thank You & Best Wishes .🇺🇲🇵🇷🦊👍
So con un turbo hablamos de 1500?
WOW! THIS IS GREAT! Imagine this engine in a Lotus Elise🚀
Wow..
Time to get a K27 in my prelude.
prelude is gay
Very impressive numbers. Amazing that 1ltr super bikes are now up at 200bhp/ltr. Still great numbers though.
Jesus Christ!
I heard the K series were good, but I didn't realise how good.
Imagine the same architecture in straight 6 or V8 form?
Man, that's pushing the absolute limit!
They prove there is no limit. Best in the game
I'm just now finding these guys but wow... Seriously, 10K rpm and 500hp!!!!! Wow
It's all in the cylinder head. An engine is an air pump. A more efficient head will result in more hp. (When proper fuel and tuning is applied)
for people who doesn't know this engine was intended for race use only. it not street able.it use race gas. so pls don't ask if this engine reliable or not as it will require periodic maintenance

You clearly could pick again a bit more by matching the intake to the head : 0:38
michaelovitch I was surprised at that too.
Sound of the champions

imagine joining two of those bad boys at the crank to make a V8... sweet jesus the sound
respect
Holy hell
500hp !?
Without a turbo!
Need this for my wife’s CR-V
Would need 6.30 axle gears and a 5k torque converter, but it would scoot!
What’s the average cost to build something like this?? I just want to know ahead of time before I get invested.
Fuck drag racing I would want that setup for a road course
How long until someone makes a v8 out of two of these?
JUN Auto did it with Hayabusa engines and shoe-horned it into a GT86, so who knows 🤷♂️
Super sick. Love my GTI, but all the cars I dream about are N/A ;)
killer set up
Id give almost anything to put this in my Miata!
Ok but what are you boosting it with?? Turbo ,Nitrous??
Race gas
Can i use this together with a Super charger?
so that's the list of parts ill need to do on mine when i kswap mine. but also is it possible to get 500HP without boreing it out to 2.7L on a N/A or close to it?
The magic lies in that head.....and yes that fuel mix smells like nitro methane through my phone.Respect to 4Piston though
Oh, K24... I thought it said KA24 so i was more impressed before the clarification
How much for the motor?
Damn bro how are you gonna show me the build but not how it runs, killin me bro lol
So essentially there's nothing left of the K series. This isn't a 500hp K24. This is a custom built engine.
I am The Hammer I mean, yeah, I guess the block is stock?
This prolly cost around 200k dinars for development alone
I'm going to say what everyone else would say. I NEEDED ONE TAKE MY MONEY! lol he'll yeah K24 straight motor aspirated!
Song? Anyone?
500hp in a controlled environment but how about once its installed in a car? how much hp you loss? on a track car or daily ?
My guy luke, awesome
Rod-ratio must be awful. Imagine the kind of rod angle that engine must have.

Im assuming it’s missing e85 now add a turbo or sumin bam or nos fuh but n/a to me is better
Now if only my Toyota 2GR-FE 3.5 v6 could make 700hp N/A. Can’t imagine the sound in person😢
Very very impressive
Neeed this in my 98 Civic dx my d16 ant enough
Can this be daily driven regularly without Revving it out
If I can just buy these parts and slap it together im curious, roughly what does a 460-480 hp n/a k24 cost? My 2004 v8 BMW has a sad 333 and I am probably more into maintenance then a 500hp Honda.
Foot pounds of torque ?
Where the shop Location at
I wonder if they could do something similar with the 1.8L mr2 engine.
Didnt know this was possible
How much does this cost?
Is it the most powerful K24 N/A in the world? Right?
Low key I think it is.
I don't know of anybody else who has reached repeatable and verifiable 500hp on an NA K Motor
I wonder how much this would cost
I need this engine in my civic....
I don't want 500HP, 300HP is good for my 2016
CR-V. What do I need to buy from Wiseco?
Can someone explain me why they use smooth intake ports and not Dimpled?
Imagine that in an EG HATCH or S2K
On eg very light 😲
About what kind of torque are you getting out of it?
What is the song playing in the back???
Good works !!!
You guys think a j35 could do 330-335whp? NA????
How do you keep the timing chain from jumping?
Well if you could modify the engine to be in the v configuration using Honda Heads 500 x 2 + two turbos = 2500 HP + easy
Can this motor be ran for an AWD car?
Do yall have a website where i can buy one or see price is yall website called 4 piston racing?
Name of music please?
Can I buy an upgraded motor and trans for my 2015 Buick verano?
Wow can I buy an engine from you guys like damn
what is the best oil for k20a engine?
how much oil we need?
How much would it cost for you to build mine ?
Would love to see 10k rpm Ford V8's making 1k HP Nat asp.
Just cannot enjoy a 4 cylinders. I love petit women but thats as far as it goes.
Gud am boss hm would this cost setup
How much would you sell one for an 8th si sedan ?
Fuck drag racing. I wanna put it in my track attack racer
how about a daily driven car? can it be used for that? and mutch it cost sutch a build?
Jurgen Haagen good luck even finding the c16 fuel it runs on.8f i cant pump gas it wate of time.
Are K24 honda's engines ?
How much to buy whole setup for motor from ya?
how much do you charge to build a k24z7?
Price??? 😲
hi boss I'm try to get 1995 corolla dx work on lol I'm going be real don't have much money but I'm trying to make it work what good way to start project off like this
Which car is this going into.
Would love to see a V8 out of a conjoined pair of these, screaming to 10k... would be noicceeee
FukU2222 I'm wondering same thing! They did it with the haybusa by mating at the crank.
AutobahnWars Man, imagine if honda made his nsx with these engine bro, it would be so damn cool
they already got small block chevys turning 10k rpms
The reason why it’s not done to any high end car is bc the reliability. This engine can not turn 100k miles without dying
what kind of fuel?
Can you make M52B28 up to 300HP under 8000rpm ?
Mehr !!!!!!!!!!
That's not a k24. It's a k27
how much does it cost ? and is tht beast able to use as a daily ??
Diego Luna that k24 is built for drag racing not for street or daily use.
Why cant companies put this much effort towards euro cars, bs honda and toyota gets all the attention...
is it reliable ?
Can i daily drive this?
