This game has a special place in my heart, I was poor growing up and would replay this game often and eventually it became a tradition, especially around Halloween.
In early concepts of this game, it was actually going to be much harder than it is now. You could spend fortune cards and I think mumbo dolls for Madame Leota to heal you on the fly, or cheat death. And every time you die, you have to go through a spiritual tunnel and reclaim your body in under a time limit. I really wish they kept these mechanics...
So you just spent the entire video shitting on this gem?? This game is OG status at this point... If you didn’t play this game as a child, that’s essentially the same as saying you had a bad childhood. Like, you missed out... Who cares if it’s linear, the majority of games are. For a game that came out in 2003, also being one of those few badass games that came with a free movie ticket, (which i still have) this game is one hell of an adventure.. The room where the walls move, the kitchen, the whole getting pulled around by spiders deal... this game was, and is still incredible. Hate to say it, but that was a poopoo review, my dude. Everyone’s got opinions, but ooooff.
I absolutely love the movie 😍 I just think it's has the right amount of charm and spooky so it's prefect for Halloween, great movies for kids like Halloweentown and hocus Pocus. I played the game last year for the first time and thought it's was a nice we charming game nothing special but if you love spooky childish games you'll like this.
Did you play it on hard? I honestly remember this game been rather tough in hard. Not spartan total warrior hard but challenging. Nice review man this games quite forgotten

You said what I was thinking
Hey, it's nice to see your name pop up in my feed again.
Nothing wrong with a fun linear story lol. Atticus is too easy tho
It's good to have you back. Happy Halloween!
Excited to be back and thank you so much for the support.
One of my favourite games ever
