Probably not something I am going to purchase. However, the way this moves projection FORWARD is great. It's been amazing to see how projection technology is overcoming the hurdles of the projectors of old little by little over the years. Brightness being the original issue. Then it was fan loudness. Then it was image quality. Then it was "needing a large room to fit it". Then it was "still not bright enough to use in the daytime". Then it was "laser speckle". A LOT of these hurdles have been overcome and it's becoming a threat for Flat Panel TVs. The simple OPENNESS having a projector in the room creates is wonderful. Even though flat panel TVs are super slim, it feels like they take up a LOT of space. Meanwhile, projectors seemingly take NO SPACE at all by comparison. Imagine having to move/paying someone to move a 120" Flat Panel TV. All of that screaming to make sure no one scratches the screen or bangs the doorway with the edge of the TV, etc. A 120" Projector Screen just rolls up. One person can walk it out most of the time with minimal threat to damaging it. Weighs WAY LESS than the 120" Flat Panel TV. It's just great IMO. Also, no more eyestrain from binge watching entire seasons of shows on Flat Panel TV's reflective, glarey, screens where you're going to have to turn off the lights or close the blinds to have an uninterrupted experience. Keep up the great work JMGO. This is epic. Now if you could only make an O2 Pro with lasers instead of LEDs that would be great, lol. I love how far projectors have come! Been a fan for 8 years and I still haven't thought of going back to Flat Panel!
Thanks for the video. Can this projector compete with high quality ultra short throw projectors like the awol 3000 or aura 2?

Is the rainbow effect still there? I bought a JMGO N1 Pro and returned it after a week because I had a headache. I had to replace it with an EPSON 3LCD. I really liked the JMGO, but because of the rainbow effect, this projector was not for me. How is the rainbow effect in the Ultimate version?
3lcd is the only projector type that will eradicate the rainbow effect. The other option you have with a dlp projector is to turn down the brightness, when you have these projectors at these super bright levels it intensifies the rainbow effect.
I am going to pull the trigger this year .but can't make my mind up on a ust or a lifestyle type . Blacks and dolby vision are a must for me due to my large collection of 4 k uhd blurays .i will have a budget of £5k including a screen. Just need you to trial the hisence c2 next. And new xgimi horizon
If you haven't purchased yet I'd suggest to look at Valerion Pro2 or Max, with their Kickstarter price at $€2k (RRP €$4k) you probably will not find anything better! at this price point
I asked JMGO when it would be in the UK and they said. Hello James, the JMGO N1S Ultimate is only available to the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and other parts of European countries. It doesn't ship to the UK currently. Hope you can understand.
The software/hardware performances of the Ultra model are sometimes sluggish, does this model use a faster chipset? 2GB of ram seems very low for such a device.
I prefer the way cheaper and larger .65 dmd dlp chip Nomvdic P1000 for the absolute best bang for your buck. It also handles low latency gaming and killer high contrast blacks for 4k hdr movies.
Your thoughts on Jmgo N1S and xgimi aura 2. Please,🙏🏾 IMAX enhanced, Dolby vision and audio. Triple laser and high ansi lumens. Help. Love my movies a lot and I can’t decide which…
Hisense C2 Ultra's specs are better. 3000:1 contrast, optical zoom...Valerion's specs look better than both, with a 4000:1 contrast ratio, optical zoom, lens shift, etc.
Contrast ratio is subjective because there isn’t a standard that is the same across all companies. Any company can create their own standard to measure contrast.
Not when you have an actual devise, to measure the contrast and verify manufacturers claims. Reviewers on other channels, are more thorough and perform the same checks on all the projectors they review.@JoelML41043
Question: does it display 24P motion if I connect an external source that outputs 24P image. I know that usually these projectors don’t have native support for 24P that’s why I ask..
@@erpatt so it does appear to have that classic judder of 24p? That is great news and the ultra works just fine for me. Have you noticed any laser speckle because the unit previews of yours had enough for someone to notice? Do you see any? Thank you very much for your answer.
@@vagomaniac Yup! I'm a classic film nut so that was important to me. Haven't noticed any laser speckle yet. But only had it for a week now. Though I have watched a variety of different content on it (4K Blu-rays, broadcast sports, several TV series in both HD and 4K/HDR).
@@erpatt Yeah I’m all about that classic film look too. I had the. Benq 3550 and although it had great color, I hated the bulb that was losing brightness and few hours. Also, it could get noisy, and the picture was kind of flat at times. I believe that this machine can do the job good blacks, good contrast very good color and relatively quiet. You would say you’re happy with it ?
@@vagomaniac Oh I'm super happy with it. My previous projector was the Xgimi Elfin which is just a 1080p LED projector that only gets up to 600 lumens. So this was a huge upgrade. Note that I have the N1S Ultra, which only came out a few months ago. Surprised they came out with this new model so soon but it appears the only thing I'm missing is that extra 500 lumens of brightness which I really don't need. The only negative I have is that the built in Google TV OS can be a little clunky and slow, likely due to just having 2gb of RAM. But I mainly use it with a Apple TV 4K.
First it doesn't look that good during the day folks, dont be misled. Thats on a expensive ALR screen not your white wall/screen. If you want that quality be prepared to fork out another chunk on a screen.

How does it compare to the N1 Ultra in terms of brightness? Worth the upgrade?
I'd like to know too
@@BenoSaradzic it’s a fair amount brighter
Whats the best screen for this?
How does does it compare to the ultra version ? The specs seems the same except 500 additional lumens
Is it suitable for gaming?
What screen do you use? Can you share the manufacturer and model?
