I BAGGED my entire NINTENDO SWITCH Collection AGAIN..! Here is why.

- I use protective sleeves for all my games nowadays. For the longest time I used PSP protectors on my Nintendo Switch games, which just didn’t look right when lined up on my shelf.
Well, I upgraded. And here is the result! Hope you enjoyed it! How do you protect your collection? Do you use sleeves? Box protectors? Anything else? Or do it raw-dog it like a barbarian? Let me know!
How do you protect your games? Sleeves? Box protectors? Raw-dogging all the way?
i like collecting fun looking switch games too. i have like 60 games already
I do the same but instead I open the games with a razor and keep the seals on the games
I actually did that with a few games in the past! In the end, once the seal is cut, it just falls apart after a while. They are just not made to hold up over the years. Especially once they're damaged.
I just watch my first video of yours which was your top 10 3ds games and the whole time my eyes were drawn to the shelf and noticed the large space on top of the switch games plastic so it’s so good to see you have got ones that fit a lot better and that make you happy. I need to get some for my own switch games as well as my ps vita and 3ds games too, could you tell me where you got the switch ones from please as it always worries me that they won’t fit right (I’m from London so I should be able to get from most European sellers). Great video, I’m a new subscriber and would love to see your whole collection of all your video games, if you have already done a video I will go look for it now to watch. Take care.
I order them from a German site called Mari Medienverpackungen.
Thanks for the feedback! I probably won’t do a video on my whole collection, because it will be out of date as soon as I buy another game. But I do some videos about my favorites on each console
I've got well used PS1 and PS2 games crammed into tubs in my basement and they look completely fine despite never being coddled.
Hope your basement is climate controlled?
yea theres no way I would be doing that, taking the plastic off over and over to play a game. its not that hard to keep stuff in great condition outside of the plastic wrapping.
I don’t swap between games often, so that’s not a big problem for me.
I do the same. I don't intend on ever selling any of my stuff but i like having it stay in like new condition.
Same. And if I ever decide to sell, may at least get as much as I can from them.
Switch Games have all Bad Nands … so useless
True, but better to have them for now than not to have them at all
This is OCD 😂
Possibly 🤣But if it makes you a little bit happier in life, why not! That's what a hobby is. maximising happiness!
Keiner mag shelf collector....
I had a few of my most treasured games in plastic sleeves too. But it was a lot of trouble to get the games out whenever I wanted to play them, plus the sleeves would crumple eventually and end up looking bad, so after a couple of years I gave up and freed all my games from the plastic sleeves.
Oh yes, getting them out can be a hassle, but honestly... I don't use my actual games for playing anymore. I have most of my consoles modded to play backups. And with modern systems, I rarely swap games. I play one game, finish it, then it lands on the shelf. The few games I swap between often (Ring Fit, for example), I simply keep the card loose or in an extra case.
I can't say I have seen my sleeves deteriorate in the last 3 years since I started using them. Maybe there is a difference in plastic? Mine are basically food-grade plastic and acid free. And as I said, I don't open them that much. they are mostly for save storage.
@@DijaVlogsGames I figured you'd play your games in a more efficient way hahahaha I guess I just came to a point that I see my games as mere toys again (as I believe we all did as children) and don't mind a few scuffs on the cover.
The plastic sleeves I used we fine, I guess, it's just that opening and closing them for a couple of years was enough to ruin them to a point I saw no reason to keep them
@@FlaDechen I am sure frequent opening and closing will mess them up quickly!
Protectors for cases, seems like overkill.
I would have agreed a few years ago, but I was just trying to get a few PS2 games for my collection and you would be surprised how destroyed the cases and inlays can get over the years.
Like the Video. What are the dimensions for the Switch and PSP sleeves you use? I have been using DVD size sleeves for my games but have the same issue with excess movement space for smaller game cases such as the Switch, PSP, and Vita.
The PSP sleeves are 122 x 185 mm
The Switch sleeves are 120 x 175 mm
I can imagine DVD sleeves looking horrible on Switch games, especially when lined up on a shelf. Good luck finding a fitting replacement!
"i think my shit will be worth cash 1 day, but really it will just be a scam set up by a grading company."
Haha, if I wanted to "invest" into video games, I wouldn't be buying stupid Switch games, opening them up and playing them.
I just like to keep my games in nice condition.
Do you use silica sachets to stop moisture inside the case?
When I kept my games in boxes, I had silica gel in each box to keep the moisture out. Now that my games are out on shelves, I don't feel the need to do that. The bags are not 100% sealed, so I don't think it Is necessary.
