This is getting me threw a difficult part of my life, I'm a high school student going to school from 7am-310pm and then working every night form 330pm-330am. Not sure how I'm doing it, but this song is brining me into Christ's presence, since I no longer have time for a worship service. If everyone would, pray for strength for me, as I'm starting to feel "burnt out". Thanks
The Holy Spirit is fire so if you feel burnt out pray for Gods fire to come down on you “to breathe on the embers of your heart” or to “spark revival in your heart and life and the family of believers”. If you ask anything of Jesus in prayer believe that it is yours and it will be. BE BOLD!!!

I kept singing this to my dad when he was in the hospital, having trouble breathing.
I have always loved Karis Jobes music . All her songs resonates well with me . I had a bad anxiety day today , I prayed about it to God and i played some gospel as i am working as background noise and suddenly this song plays which i have always known of but today for the first time in years I actually listened to what she was prophesying . I feel like I took Gods mercy for granted . I failed him as his daughter .This song made me understand that God is always with me regardless of what my mind says . He is always here and I will find rest in him. 💗

My wife and I are both Buddhists, that day my wife was about to give birth to her first child, because it was the first child, the birth was very difficult, I tried to pray to God and surprisingly, later the baby was born. the baby was born very easily, God is good, I'm sure God heard my prayer, I'm so grateful💜Amen🙏🏾🙏🏾

Marissa, please keep your grace. I notice so many parents busy working and not pouring their love and attention to their children. I invited several of my boys friends to vacation bible school, but their parents wouldn't let their children come. Some of these children go home alone after school - latch-key kids. I feel so hurt for them because children do not understand. Some act out in school because negative attention is better than none at all. Please keep your patience with them. Look at them like they are your children. You only have 10 months to teach them what grace is and plant seeds of greatness. I had a 6th Grade Teacher, her name was Debra Kovacs. I will never forget her. She was the first teacher who made me feel like I mattered and that I can be anything I wanted to be. My first language was spanish and I was afraid to speak because of my accent. I am 42 now, successful Paralegal for over 20 years. My success is in part because of her. You have a chance to plant a seed in the lives of the children that come to your classroom. Ask God every morning to be your mouthpiece and to open your heart and mind. I promise it will be a good day.
Wow I've just got home and read this after an exhausting week in my first few weeks teaching!!!! I'm gonna do the same!!!!
It is one tough job. Having to support students academically AND EMOTIONALLY. I teach middle school, so they get all of these emotions and their frontal lobe is so underdeveloped for the emotions they need to process so they end up saying really hurtful or act out in class because of it. I discipline with kindness, but firmness, but many of my students need to understand that they can't disrespect me in my classroom, so they don't like being disciplined. I know eventually they will respect me, they don't have to like me, but the like comes after they learn to respect me. It's my 8th graders, rather than my 7th graders.

Sitting in the darkness 2am in a hospital room beside my daughter who is here sick in need of surgery in the coming days, worshiping praying for her HE IS HERE!🙌🏻.. my husband who had one surgery recent for kidney stones and still another yet to go, while also praying for his healing! HE IS HERE! The comfort and strength he is giving me.. I am so grateful HE IS HERE! 🙌🏻

One of my brothers passed away last year. One thing that helped me to cope was to spend more time in prayer and studying the Bible. this song was my grandson Xander's favorite bedtime song. It brings me so much comfort now that Xander rests within the arms of Jesus. We find Him, and we breathe, living one day at a time knowing someday we will see our Xander again.

Children always have a way of bringing us closer to the child with in us...and so then I believe is when we draw closer to God. I pray that God gently heals your heart from any hurt...this choice of a song showed a sweet nature filled with a compassion beyond our own understanding. I'm having a hard time putting my thoughts into words right now. I'm still haunted by the death of my mother. I was at her bedside as she lay dying, looking to me for reassurance. She was not saved. I remained mostly silent and did not try to step outside of my comfort zone to witness to her. I feel a burden, a lump in my throat, a cry rising from my soul, whenever I remember this failure. To raise a child with the Truth of Jesus and what He has done for every one of us is something the Bible tells us to do. We are to speak this "for generations;" not only to our children but to our children's children. I failed my children as well. I cannot use the excuse, "I was too busy working two jobs because I was a single parent." There was time every morning if only I'd gotten up 30 minutes earlier, for morning devotionals in which I could have taught them God's Word. There was time for me to sit down with them in the evening for dinner. There was time before I put them to bed. I could have made much more time. I was selfish. There is not any other reason.
I have read the other comments here wishing condolences to Xander's Grandmother for her loss. It's so true, the loss of any child is grievous. However, this memory, this hope she has of seeing Xander again, is real. It goes more deeply than hope. It is a certainty and something for her to hang on to, more than a crutch to help her deal with the loss. Nothing is more certain than the promises of a God Who cannot lie. He promises us we will be reunited one day when we pass from this life to the next, providing we have held to the promise of life given by Jesus when He conquered death and the grave in the Resurrection. There is no reason on the earth good enough to fail to teach this to our children or to share this with our elderly parents before they are lying on their deathbed, though that's as good a time as any. Don't fail as I have done. Living with a loss but having hope is far better than living with a loss coupled with regret.
Though I cannot change the past, I certainly allowed God to change my tomorrows! I now share the Good News at every opportunity I find, having already learned long ago that He always gives an opening to share in some way. We only need to be sensitive to His Spirit. He gives the opening, the words, the knowledge to give answers we may not have been able to come up with before that moment. He is responsible to do the work in the heart of the other person. We don't have to take any rejection personally. If we feel we've failed in some way, we can ask Him what we could do differently next time. We can always learn and apply as He guides us.
To Xander's Grandmother: I praise God Xander is now in His loving arms, waiting for you, and will be there to greet you when you also arrive Home. I am sorry you ever had to grieve the death of a child. However tough it is, you have the blessed hope God promised - that to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of God. I hope you fill your days with the joy of looking forward to your reunion with Xander rather than grieving his absence from your life today. Please believe me as I tell you, you are in a much better place than I.
This is a lot of personal stuff to put out here, but even though I could be embarrassed by it, if it helps even one person be a more effective witness, it is worth my discomfort. God speaks to you at all times. It is up to you to learn to listen.

I recently just got released from Florida state prison on a 8 year sentencing and a Christian guide me in a path that changed my life and he would always talk about this Kara Jobe and I finally got me a radio to her Kara and since then i have been so in tune you God because of Kara and I just want to thank you Kara God used you in my life to give me that hope thank you so much

I knelled before the Lord, as this song played by my church band, and I raised my arms in the air, praying for my then terminally ill Momma, in hopes the lord will heal her. God did not, she passed away from leukemia after a decade long battle.
I am blessed to have had her for 30 something years of my life.

The only regret I have was her not meeting my second born Son who arrived 11 months after her departure 😢

I had this song on repeat for 12hrs straight. On top of that I was forced to put my 15yr old cat down last week, that I helped revive when he was born. I sang this to him as the vet administered the dose. He just purred and was at peace. This song brings so much comfort and I listen to it whenever I feel down.

I can shut off the world, the stress, the constant ache, and it helps me to enter in this place with Jesus where all I need to do is breathe and feel Gods presence. that's all I have energy for. so thank you.
