*Summary:* Two Contradictory things can not be true at the same time.
Ex: if a religion says Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) is god and another one says no he's not, just a messenger, and another one says, you're both wrong, Jesus was a liar. Another one says, You all are wrong, Jesus didn't exit. In that case, only one statement can be true at the same time. because they contradicts each other)
If someone or some religion says, "Every religion is a way to god" or "All religions are a medium of god." There are 2 possibilities only.
1. All of religions are wrong. god doesn't exist.
2. or God do exist, then one religion is true because because every religion contradicts each other. in many topics.

I don't see any problem with taking from western, islamic, indian, japanese philosophy as long as we take good aspects. we can create our own philosophy through our own moral grounds. only question is, what do we define as good or bad? where does our morality come from? this itself is a philosophical debate that has not been clearly resolved. There are different schools of thought. I don't think there is any one philosophy that is correct.
The interesting aspect is that if you look at western, islamic, indian or asian philosophy, there are parts that agree in every schools of thought. those should be taken. On the rest of the aspects, we have to choose. I think we can have different perceptions and still function as society. If you look at countries of mix culture, a prime example is Australia where a large amount of population is asian oriented, there are also ingenious people and ofcourse the white westerners.
I don't think we should try to dye our society in one color in terms of philosophical perception because it can be oppressive to other schools of thought.

চমৎকার আলোচনা! এবং এটা আরো চমৎকার হতো যদি একই কথা বারবার ঘুরে না আসতো। যেমন ফিলোসফিক্যাল ইনকন্সিস্তেন্সি এই টপিকটা বারবার ঘুরেফিরে আসছে প্রত্যেকটা কথার পরিসমাপ্তিতে। সুযোগ ছিল আরো অন্যদিকে আলোচনাটা নিয়ে যাওয়ার, যাতে আলোচনার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে পারে এবং আমরাও আরো নতুন কিছু জানতে পারি। তারপরেও নিঃসন্দেহে ভালো আলোচনা ছিল।

You cannot deny the role of islamic philosophy role in the development of Bangladeshi society Bangladeshi society is a continuation of erstwhile East Pakistani society which was formed in support of the East Bengali masses. You have to go the history of East bengal and derive philosophy from the struggles of the life of peasant,zaminder,forest dwellers, fishermen, etc. who had existed in the land in the pre- modern age and see their views regarding how they thought about the Bengali society. You can't deny the philosophy of uprisings against British rule led by Titu Mir, Haji Shariatullah or before modern age role of reformers of society like Sufi saints Hazrat Khan Jahan RA.

ভাই! আমারা যতকাল গ্রীক দর্শন নিয়ে পড়ে থাকবো তৎকালীন আমাদের মধ্যে ফিলোসফিকাল ক্রাইসিস চলতেই থাকবে। কারণ এদেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষ মুসলিম। তাদের ফিলোসফি হবে ইসলামী ফিলোসফি , যার ভিত্তি কুরআন হাদীসের উপর। পক্ষান্তরে গ্রীক ফালোসফির কিছু অংশ ইসলামের সাথে যদিও সাংঘর্ষিক না যেমন, রিয়াযিয়্যাত, আর কিছু সাংঘর্ষিক যেমন ইলাহিয়্যাতে কারণ তা নাস্তিকতার প্রতি আহ্বান কারী আর তা গঠেছিল সর্বকনিষ্ট দার্শনিক ইরিস্টেটোলের কারণে সে নাস্তিক ছিল। অথচ তার গুরুরা আস্তিক ছিল মূর্তিপূজক ছিল। মোট কথা সামগ্রিক ভাবে কিছু সাংঘর্ষিক কিছু সাংঘর্ষিক না। তবে যেহেতু গ্রীক দার্শনিকরা সৌরজগতে বেশ উন্নতি করে ছিল। ফলে মানুষ তাদের ভক্ত হয়ে তাদের ভুলভাল সব অকপটে মেনে নেয়।এবং ধোঁকা গ্রস্তহয়। কারণ আমাদের দেশের দার্শনিকরা তাদের কথাকে কুরআন হাদীসের চেয়ে বড় মনে করে এবং তাদের কথার কোন সমালোচনা হতে পারে তাও বোধহয় তারা মেনে নিতে চান না। অন্য দিকে ইউরোপের লোকেরা ঠিকই তাদের দর্শন কে সমালোচনার দৃষ্টিতে দেখেছেন এবং তাতে ডেবলপ করে বহুদূর এগিয়ে গেছে। যদিও তারাও তাদের একদিকে উন্নতি দেখে অন্য দিকে ধোঁকা খেয়েছে তথা ইলাহিয়্যাতে । মানে তারাও ধর্মহীনতায় জর্জরিত। তবে তারা এ সেক্টর বাদ দিয়ে অন্য সেক্টর তথা রিয়াযিয়্যাত মানতেক নিয়ে বহু গবেষণা করেছে সমালোচনার দৃষ্টিতে । একটা নিয়ে পড়ে থাকেনি আর আমরা সমালোচনার দৃষ্টিতেই তা কখনো দেখেনি ফলে আমাদের ধর্মও গেছে ডেবলপও গেছে।( অথচ এই গ্রীক দর্শনকে সর্বপ্রথম নাকানি চুবানি খাইয়েছেন গাযালী রহমতুল্লাহি আলাইহি ) এবং অস্থিরতায় ভুগছি।আর পড়া শোনাতো বাদই দিয়ে দিয়েছি। ইমাম গাযালিকে পড়া উচিত ইবনে তাইমিয়াকে পড়া উচিত। তাহলে এসব অস্থিরতার উত্তর সেখানে পাবেন। এ লেখাটা দেখলাম আসিফ স্যারের কথা" দ্যা ক্রাইসিস অফ ফিলোসফি" এর ব্যখ্যায়।
