I inherited a 2010 SHO with 48K miles when my mom moved into a nursing home, my stepdad bought it a year before he passed, it is my everyday ride now, love it.
Just make sure you change fluids oil trans PTU and PTO if it has over 100 do cam phasers chain water pump and rebuild turbos. They're reliable if you take care of them, but reliability is relative to platform, and it is a twin turbo direct injected and AWD car; meaning higher maintenance.
69K miles, I use pure synthetic oil, change every 5K miles, bought a suction pump to change the PTU fluid when it warms up. I will be changing the transmission fluid soon. Thanks for all the advice as I plan on keeping it for quite a while. @@bobbybandz9194
I have a 2013 Taurus SEL and only did: Tint, K&N CAI, Exhaust, Front Drilled and Slotted and Rear Drilled Rotors, swapped out the gray 3 deck grille for the black cop SHO looking grille, LED lights in all places except the side marker lights, added some type C charging ports, put a power inverter in the trunk... anything else is just minor stuff.
I have a 2011 Taurus sel fwd* but even with just an exhaust and an intake upgrade and tune its pretty decently quick obviously its not a sho but its still fun for me as a daily and I plan on keeping this car for life and buying a parts Taurus so I can make it awd and maybe turbo one day who knows for now its acceleration about matches a stock sho and im happy with it for now
@Doug-xd4fr awd is fun and gets alot of traction but also makes it heavier so idk im having fun with this build so far but i plan on getting an interceptor or sho for personal use
@@warlord6416 I got the regular fwd interceptor and she’s been a great daily driver for 20k no problems no lights on the dash nothing at 170k I plan on getting a awd TT hopefully within a couple years and give this one to my girl
All you need for your sel flex fuel Taurus K&N intake Roar pedal plug and play..throttle adjuster..plug in power tuner chip..gas mileage gos up runs like a battery out of hell sounds great and overall a nice beast..present gas mileage is 24-30 highway-18-22 city on a V6 ya can’t go wrong ..didn’t want to change the exhaust no issues or problems!!(2014 sel flex fuel)

I recently purchased a 2015 SHO with the performance package...the first thing I am doing is adding a cold air intake, then doing the 93 octane tune. Not sure what else to do after that. It is black and has tinted windows 😅
I have 2013 ford Taurus limited I already put tints my Nxt mod I will be installing cat-back exhaust, I really want to add a turbo to the engine not sure how but I’m doing research this car is aggressive family car
EPP charge pipes, XDI-EVO HPFP, DW300 LPFP, XDI injectors, 500cc methanol injection, TurboBay turbos, PPE DPs, 2.5 exhaust, aftermarket intercooler, built engine, trans mods, and most importantly a good tuner. 650awhp, 647awtq. 0-60 3.4 seconds, 11.4 quarter mile. Full weight. Cost 20,000 just for the build, excluding the cost of the car.... So many insane SHOs on here. 802SHO, Autoracing, Ken Kyle Racing. Yes there expensive to take them to the extreme, but you get a well mannered city driver, but can put hellcats in their place all day long.
I own a 2016 Taurus SHO in blue jeans. Stock w/ tints. Looking to do some mods. Not sure if you've heard of hot pipes but that's definitely my first real upgrade I'm planning

I’ve had a 2010 ford Taurus sho for about 2 months, been looking for shops or looking up parts but can’t seem to find any. I’ve just wanted a car that can keep up with these stock Camaros n chargers these young kids get to sho them you don’t need a 70k or more car to have fun n b fast any suggestions?
The biggest problem with driving a black Taurus is everyone in front of you will drive EXACTLY the speed limit.
Yes but on the highway they will move over quick, fast and in a hurry
Mines white, same problem
Just got mine and it's dark blue. I felt so bad for the car in front of me when I went night driving lmfao They were driving a little too perfectly.

Just to clarify, the model shown is a SHO. The other one out that’s out there is an SEL. The latter does not come with a turbo.
Will these upgrades work with my Lincoln mks?
So basically a stock SHO with'10-12 SHO wheels, with tinted windows, exhaust, and a tune?
