If my rental is in a different province and i need to fly there periodically to meet with a contractor, is that also deductible?

The deductibility of travel expenses for rental property can depend on various factors, including the purpose of your trips and the nature of your activities. Generally, if the purpose of your travel is directly related to the management or maintenance of your rental property, it may be deductible.
However, tax laws can vary between provinces, so it's crucial to consult with a tax professional or accountant familiar with the specific regulations in both the province where your rental property is located and your primary residence. They can provide personalized advice based on your situation.
Always keep detailed records of your expenses, including receipts and a log of the business purpose of each trip, to support any potential deductions.
