Nobody watches Asmon raid streams now iwthout there being absolute clownery. WE expect it, and we show up for it.
To be honest I don't think Paladin DI'd for the content. He most likely genuinely forgot the aggro range of the boss and decision needs to be made within seconds.

Literally ever pug I get into is like this, and then I join one with a way too high ilvl req then is actually neccesary and its still like this😂
As someone who was an officer in a raiding guild when Ulduar originally released... we were the #2 progression guild on the server and then we just got stuck on Yogg for months from stupid shit like this.. 0 pugs, experienced raiders, and we just went down in flames week after week on this boss. This is an authentic wotlk experience.

Second, No, children are not playing WoW classic for sure...
Children are strapped on their phones playing mobile games or just doing social medias.
And if they are playing on a PC they play Legue, fortnite or valorant.
And IF in the extremely rare chance, they touch an MMORPG and their choice happens to be WoW, that would be retail... not classic... and that would be for MANY reasons.
I have no idea where you find those children... the youngest player i've met is like.. 20 years old.

Im one of these sweatlords that min-max everything etc and if I would hit the "join random dungeon" button in WoW-Retail I would ALWAYS get placed with people FAR below my skill, like if the world first guys are a 10/10...then im an 8/10 and Id get paired with 1-3/10.

I feel like we all can relate to the experience of being a new player just needing a break, and tbh he most certainly wasn't the cause of most of these wipes, it was those other clowns tryna get the limelight. Every alliance raid feels like a mid week, late night PUG, I swear 💀😂
Reminds me of the time I played Ulduar and other WotLK raids; I intentionally ground faction rep with Dalaran to get the merchant/vendor mammoth mount, so that I could ensure that if anyone showed up without basic items or hadn't cleared their inventories, they had the ability to do so without having to leave the muster area. Sometimes, it wasn't just enough to bring out the mount, I had to parade around the raid group with a macro that explained what the NPCs on the mount did. Came in handy a lot more than you'd think.
Sometimes, your value to the raid isn't just the raw numbers; sometimes, it's making sure a ton of small but stupid issues don't crop up.

This is the boss that broke up my guild back when Ulduar originally came out like 15 years ago, lol. Over and over again we'd get too many adds. This was before there was any kind of message indicating who stepped in a cloud. It was brutal.
My guild never even touched Yogg until ICC xD. We were bad. Then I’d stare at our top guild who did 0keepers pre icc like they were the second coming of Jesus

@@106adamm Not on Ulduar launch, there wasn't. There were no raid log events to indicate who exactly triggered it. It was only added later after lots of complaints from the community. Sadly my guild was already broken up by then, lol.

Best accidental boss pull... I was on my Bear in an alt raid prepping (eating etc) when my cat who was wanting pets decided that biting my nipple was the best course of action... I hit some buttons and auto walked into boss. The whole thing was on discord and caused much hilarity and fodder for the "fun run".
Everyone praising Gus but for me the real legend is Nogrod. Still remember him from Sunwell where as tank he had no trinket (empty gear slot) equipped.

I remember doing this dude back in vanilla. Made me quit the guild after the same people failed the clouds 20 times in a row. Was a raiding guild i've been with since week 4 retail which cleared up to M'uru.

Absolutely! The secret Ulduar raid they hid in Vanilla was one of the best raids in all of WoW. I remember killing Illidan, running Vault of the Incarnates, one-shotting Deathwing, and then killing Yogg all in the same dungeon in vanilla!
Really goes to show that people really didn't know how to play the game back then lol. Now Ulduar is pretty much Naxx still a joke but with a few extra steps

Interesting how fast Asmon reverted to being a toxic raid leader the MOMENT that raids were no longer an absolute pushover designed for mouth breathing shoe-horn eating degenerates. It's almost as if he had no reason to ever get toxic in those raids, because even with a full raid of sponge-eaters you would clear the raid in less than 1 hour.

To be honest, when you told Gus to wait at the door, I figured you didn't want him in the fight. I don't blame him for staying at the door, you never told him to leave that location so it's entirely your fault lol.
Never played WoW, but this does bring back horrible memories of the winter when SWToR was released. So much fun and absolutely great pvp, but the high tier raids were bloody horrible to coordinate and get people to do what they were supposed to, not to mention most people being new and despite it only being 10 man raids, so many had no idea how to play their character at all, let alone at max level versus proper content. Teaching basic six to eight ability rotations to someone who had been carried to that point made my mind hurt.
