As an owner of both a Panda 100hp and a 500 Abarth (300vc), I'll choose the panda everyday! It's probably the most fun car I've ever driven.
Just bought one as my first car and I fucking love it. 100HP and under a tonne make it so much fun to drive, and I think it looks great for what it is. There's a few out there if you're looking for them too.
Such an underrated car that weighs in at 980 kg and does upset many other cars lol. why on earth has the owner put those stupid Mercedes wheels on get the alloys back on brilliant little car never underestimate a panda 100 hp lol. 😂😂🤣🤣🤣👌👍

One of the most unknown and underrated warm hatchbacks is by far the Renaultsport Twingo. 130bhp and so much fun to drive 😂 need one of those on the channel
Suzuki ignis sport also, very under appreciated car

A few people have converted them. I imagine itll be fairly easy because the fiat 500 is based of a panda
@@4039byrne yes, tjet and tjets 6q tranny from 500 is just plug and play, and todays on youtube is even some cable reduction, which connects engine with body, and all you need is code the body to engine ecu, and you just good to go

For all those moaning at those Mercedes wheels they add 10bhp per corner.
They def add traction. Much wider than stock and offset further out= much better dynamics
I have always loved the Panda100hp. They look good standard though, personally I don’t like those Mercedes trims- standard 100hp has alloys so seems an odd choice to go steel but I guess we can’t all like the same stuff
This seems like the perfect car for me at the moment.
Got a budget around £3k and also got a motorbike for something quick.

Love my pandas, got a modified 1.2 panda and a standard 💯hp
They're a lot of fun, quirky and full of character, with some nice Italian styling.
I drive a Fiat Panda 4x4 but mine is the 0.9 twinair turbo, that's just 875cc only 2 cylinders but still developes 85bhp!!
The grin factor is huge, especially when some boy racer has a go from the traffic lights and gets blown away by a Panda 🐼 😯⚠️😁

I would take any of these type of hot hatches to a super car any day, just a really fun run around that’s super practical, not ridiculous and just a ton of fun.
Bought and put 40k miles on one. Mostly due to pistonheads raving about them. Was a brilliant car. Mine had KW coilovers and was a real laugh. Had to rebuild a rear caliper and that’s it. If you want to turbo one then buy a Punto. Enjoy it for what it is.
One of these used to live on my estate always made me curious I like them a lot
I loved my Panda 100. Had an indicated 122 mph one night. So much fun.
I have this exact engine in my Fiat 500 sport with a 6 speed manual. Drives like a treat, even sounds quite mean with the stock exhaust.

A mate of mine who had an RS4 said one of these was a right laugh as his daily hack. I’d say go for it you won’t get nothing with big bhp as a first car but you can certainly get something chuckable and brisk to get your driving skills in order. Suzuki swift Sport also a good shout.

Awesome video I’ve always wanted one of these.The fiat 500 abarth engine goes on easy enough apparently too.Them merc wheel trims are hideous though the owner needs some little motorsport type wheels on it like team dynamics
Bought one of these new after reading the review in evo back in the day. Loved it, have an itch to get another.
Small Fiats have always been fun cars to drive, the original classic panda was fun to throw around too 🙂

I have the 54hp smallest version but even that is fun! Put black rims on it and a sports exhaust, funny little thing and surprisingly quick (until 50km/h lol)

My 6n2 2001 Polo GTI 1.6 16v 125bhp goodness only a tad over 1000kg proves this point too - mine Koni ST-R dampers all round with Eibech Pro-line springs fully polybushed throughout it go and handles like glue. Something about old high revving 16v's that small Turbo engines just can't beat in feel.
Recently sourced a sub 11k example in red. Lots of pics on my instagram. Great car!

They’re the same seats they have in all the abarths except the competizione. As a owner of that car I am shocked lol I thought they were exclusive. Unless he’s swapped them. Except from the ‘abarth’ stitching though

@@DanielDrives you sure ? Cos they’re obv the same abarth seats but without the abarth stitching so they could’ve put them on at factory as they haven’t got abarth branding on them
@@trapbandicoot7877 I’m sure. It looks as though they could be seen as standard but the Panda 100hps came with different seats, explaining why you need to change a bolt to be able to fit the Abarth ones

I do 50/50 town and motorway driving I am just looking at the fiat as I don't want a hot hatch, its hard to find a small car that does both I need to know would it pass a lorry going up a hill on a motorway
I have a 2011 1.2 Panda and it'll do that no problem and safely too so a 100hp version would find it a walk in the park. My 1.2 is comfy, quiet, sits on the motorway at 70mph no problem and returns 45mpg, I keep getting tempted by a 100hp myself but because mine is so reliable I don't want to get rid yet.
I'm seriously thinking about buying one soon but I'm not sure if there unreliable can someone help me because I need to know what things I need to look out for
They are reliable, and surprisingly good quality. Just take care of the car, and it will not let you down! These NA engines are bulletproof, easy to work on. Did you already got your hands on one? Don't hesitate, prizes are going up in Europe!
Back before I bought my Renaultsport twingo in 2010, I was looking one of these and a 500 Abarth, but you couldn't get one of these at the time
Even the base model panda is a great car. I love em you can understeer on a wet roundabout at 20mph, managing your grip is proper driving

Nothing will ever beat naturally aspriated engine that likes to rev out to make power. Don't care how many turbo's you've got, don't care how many amps in in your Telsa battery.. gimme a naturally aspriated petrol engine that has just enough power to make you feel some acceleration, without getting you banned from driving.
