According to one of the post battle info-boxes that appeared in the post battle discussion, which according to a number of your comments you skipped for whatever reason, Super Eggman would not have changed the battle’s victor. “Achieving Super Eggman and the Egg Field required weeks of energy gathering and a modified Phantom Ruby Prototype. Bowser using the Wonder Flower could warp reality at a Universal Range in a shorter time. Bowser could also warp stars without power-ups. Also, Super Eggman was countered by Positive Chaos Energy, which shares similarities with the pure hearts.” Point 1 raised by this: Gathering the energy to attain “Super Eggman” is not worth it, Bowser will have killed Eggman many times over by the time he could. While Eggman could very easily have waited in attempting to overthrow Bowser to gain that power, but that would fall under Death Battle’s rules regarding prep time. Basically either you don’t get it, or you and your opponent get it. Point 2: Said aloud during the post battle review, the Phantom Ruby (which was the whole reason “Super Eggman” even worked) could warp reality on a planetary scale. Bowser with the Wonder Flower was preparing to affect the universe by the end of Mario Wonder. Basically they’re saying the Wonder Flower would’ve been enough to Override Super Eggman, an “Alternate Scenario” animation at the end showing Super Eggman being turned into a Goomba. The final line saying that even if Eggman managed to attain his Super Form for the battle, Bowser had ways to counter it, namely the pure hearts. The pure hearts being able to counter the effects of the Chaos Heart… “Chaos” Heart. Super Eggman is powered by “Chaos” Energy. I do think it’s a bit of a stretch, personally, the most the Pure Hearts did in Super Paper Mario was just break 2 unbreakable shields and completely restore entire universes after they were annihilated by the void. I don’t think they’d be enough to stop Super Eggman, even if they probably would do something. Even without the Wonder Flower or the Pure Hearts, the Star Rod, Dream Stone, and Dreamy Bowser Form could just make him go “poof”, and no more Eggman. While it could be argued that Dreamy Bowser (the form Bowser took after he inhaled the fragments of the destroyed Dream Stone) could not actually just wipe away Super Eggman, or any of his other robots, seeing as he didn’t get rid of Mario and Luigi as Dreamy Bowser, plus the fragments of the Dream Stone would “obviously” give less power than the actual thing right? No. First, in the battle, Bowser is seen creating versions of his minions out of thin air, as well as massive chunks of meat in order to heal himself. I use “creating”, despite there clearly being portals to drop them on the ground, because of the coloring of the minions and food. They’re the same rainbow color as Bowser, which if he had just summoned them from across the globe, they wouldn’t have. Bowser simply didn’t wipe Mario and Luigi out of existence at this point for the same reason Eggman doesn’t carpet bomb Sonic without warning, which he could very well do. It’s personal. VERY Personal. And before someone says “Bowser was going to use the Dream Stone to get rid of Mario and Luigi before he became Dreamy Bowser”, I’m aware. But you have to understand, there is a difference in the infinite power of Bowser wielding the Dream Stone, and the infinite power of Dreamy Bowser. The Dream Stone holds infinite power, which can be used by whoever wields it, which at that point was Bowser. Sure he had infinite power, but that doesn’t mean someone couldn’t just grab the Dream Stone from him while he wasn’t paying attention. Mario and Luigi themselves have pulled the “I know you’re winning but I win” card before, so he knows that no half-measures can be taken. So, get rid of them now, assert himself as supreme ruler of the known universe, then bring them back and beat them then. Which was a mindset that changed once he inhaled the Dream Stone, because now you’d have to pry each speck of dust from Bowser’s digestive system to remove this power from him now.
Super Eggman takes like weeks of prep time and it's failed before I could genuinely see Eggman considering that entire project a failure and abandoning it
Imagine a Sonic or Mario game where either of these had their full aresenal ready and prepared. They'd be very short games. That's just not how these two are ever written

All sonic super forms are immune to erresure. As shown by the fact that the beaing errasi g loterally the infinite timelines and universes of the sonic cosmology could not just errase the super characters. The ruby scales to or above the emeralds so is entirely fair to grant the same errasure immunity.

There is alot of detailed explanations and most when given enough time give eggman the edge, do your own research, dont go with death battle as a source, the ones the prefer one character and that characters wins are gonna prob just try to shut you down, so go off king
Problem is, prep time is rarely given to combatants, plus many people keep ignoring the vacuum block, which is what used to Bring ivo in for the final punch

@ base Bardock can clap thraggs butt. Thragg is a viltrimite 3 times stronger then omniman. Base Bardock could also take on battle beast and thragg in a 1v2. Battle beast fought thragg to a stand still. Death battle just loves to play favorites.
Although Bowser most definitely have certain hacks and abilities that could lead to his victory something that people fail to understand is the fact that he wouldn't get the chance to use any of it because he would be speed blitzed immediately.

The way I see it is both sides of so many things in their arsenal that you couldn’t bring them all in one fight. You bring up Eggman, but Bowser didn’t use the Wonder Flower, his dream form, all of his kids, or any power ups. Both just have so many powers.
They underestimated both but eggman did get hoed. They misunderstood the Metal virus and how to counter it. They said that there’s only 7 chaos emeralds despite there being over 60 of them. And didn’t even mention that the power of stars surpass wish granting energies and chaos emeralds can do the same thing. And ignored that eggman has 2 other phantom rubies other than the one infinite has. Hell even rings have resistences to space and reality warping(literally what wish granting is) power. Bowser got hoed too because the grand stars grants a major amount of power that bowser surpasses in base, didn’t take into consideration that bowser can stack his powerups as well as both both sides having been able to move without time being present. Also downplayed the boos usefulness in being bowsers stronger troops and being immune to the metal virus. Etc
