Combatting Beech Leaf Disease

Is there any update on the grafted; possibly resistant trees?

My trees are pretty severlely diseased with BLD. Should I cut them down now so I can plant Maple or other trees. Or wait with a hope they can recover?

Look at the flavonoids that the Japanese beech leaves produce in response to the nematode.
