Phil Foden was the star of the show as he scored the third hat-trick of his City career and his second this season.
Our Academy graduate hit three sublime strikes after Rodrigo‘s opener had been cancelled out by Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.
His first came on the stroke of half-time as he curled a free-kick through the wall and into the bottom corner.
He added City’s third with a deft finish following excellent work from Rodrigo.
Foden‘s hat-trick was completed with the pick of the bunch, firing into the top corner from 20 yards.
The result sees City extend our unbeaten run to 24 matches and return to winning ways after Sunday’s stalemate with Arsenal.

And why is Jack also a keyplayer, when I watch carefully last seasons all game, he has been involving with MC game tempo, which most of the time, while the ball sometimes guaranteed to lose or the tempo is lost, he managed to hold it off and sometimes create chances out of nothing, also know how to defend is a plus thing. Thus make his appearance increased everyone else a higher chance to score or assist. In which J100 is like a good healer and buffer but everyone only cares about the sworsman up front

This IS how we played as Foden sometimes Bernardo as false 9 before Erling where our attack looked more fluid and less rigid. Erling is clearly going through a bad patch happens to every player but I think he is not indispensable as Pep showed today. Our Phil always turns up when we need him to this has been a great season for him same for Rodri hope we win something (CL or PL if not both) to reward their efforts.
