@@Al3rbed1 Yes, by replacing my cpu and motherboard as they were deemed faulty when i sent them back. Now i have ryzen 7800x3d. 0 crashes or even lag spikes afterwards. Intel 13th and 14th gen are experiencing issues en masse rn, not even their crappy microcode could fix it.
yeah don't listen to this guy, if getting crashes first just verify files, and then maybe make a windows paging file/check taskmgr usage to see if it's crashing off ram first
Does the game randomly just tabs out and then you cant get back into it or how does the crashes appear ? I have the same problem just got a new pc with 4070 and ryzen 7 7800x3d and the game keeps crashing on me
@@maxgraul5316 Game randomly shuts down during playing, and after returning to the desktop, I can relaunch it without any guarantee of how long it will run. I just disabled ecores now in the BIOS and added '-threads 8' when starting the game, but unfortunately, that doesn't help either

@@maxgraul5316 no matter how you configure the game with the available options, it should work. CS2 is simply broken, as you can see from the comments, not just here
If some people still looking for answers.. it might be Intel Core 13th & 14th Gen CPU instability issues. Which you can prevent, by changing some things in BIOS.
Mine freezing and crashing randomly during the game no matter if I play Deathmatch, Premier, Casual or Faceit. Have played without problems with integrated graphics Vega 11 (Ryzen 5 3400G) and when I had installed GTX 1080 I couldn't play properly, game crashes randomly, without any pattern. GPU is working fine; I play other games with it, but when it comes to CS2 I can't do much with these issues. Sometimes I can finish the game without crashes and freezes but sometimes it happened way too often. For example, I just finished Premier match on Inferno and had 6 crashes. If anyone has a clue just let me know, this is getting way to frustrating.

I do run 4:3 resolution so.. if I run native res everything is ok, but if I run 4:3 res and Alt TAB eventually it's gonna get mad and not respond anymore... :/ This problem wasn't there before, it's s something new, mb bcz of an update.. but I still try to find a solution for this.. it's so annoying... Any advices?
nothing helps... the only solution that works and not 100% is to return the drivers about 5 versions back (nwidia users), that's the only way it worked for me that the game doesn't crash... but it jerks sometimes, fps drop ...

the first internet guide to make things actively worse. now the startup is so long i cant get into the game
I reversed the changes and I can get back in with normal startup

i9-14900k and rtx 3090 ti and the game has crashed every single match i play at least 10 times per game for months.
I believe CS2 freezes after i die at some point every 2-3 game

To prevent the game from crashing, open the process tab of applications (ctrl+alt+suppr) and enable "the efficiency mode". It's as simple as that.
