Ahhhhh... Ken had spikes, baby Alex had dreads, Les Carter owned the stage, John A held everything together with his bass... and John 'Bum' Leonard added a squillion different instruments per set. Happy days indeed!
THE best gig i have been to in my 57 years, still brings chills and an immnse sense of euphoria to see it after the event ,Big love to the Johns,Ken,Dan and not forgetting Alex
We first saw this band supporting The Levellers. Our kid fell in love with them and he and his missus became die-hard Hell Hounds. Thanks to my kid brother, I got free tickets to Slade Room gig. The Hell Hounds are lovely - the band are awesome and my whole family now love them.
Fantastic live band You have never lived if you haven't been in the moshpit at a Ferocious Dog gig! long live Celtic Punk! Got tix to see them in November in Exeter. can't wait!
The Clash started this. Crass, New Model Army and Chumbawamba continued it. And now at time when it is needed more than ever before in living memory, we have this lot - carrying on a proud tradition of protest songs by angry Brits, and doing so most excellently. This is the first FD thing I have ever seen and am an instant convert, despite having fled to a country where democracy actually works.
Sing out the truth! Your the anthem for a collectively traumatized people, not just of England but the world over. Love your energy and passion. Keep going, hope to see you in person one day. Greetings from Canada!
saw them this summer at Beautiful Days and again in November -Frome- on The Hope tour. Converted. With hoodie! Thanks for all the back stories to your songs and fab dance beats :) !!
@@JTindisbish been hectic bro but I did the Blackpool Bootleg, top night but had to get off 20 mins early for the train. Hopefully see you next year bro🤘❤
Just seen the ticket stub on our very busy fridge door for this gig, a cracking gig as ever with FD. Be warned, they are addictive as Ken told us after our first gig.😆
I would like to have perfect English to understand everything and dont have to look for the lyrics, but I love your music, you guys sound incredible!!!!.
Sheer class, along with the levellers you tell it like it is !!! Ashes to ashes ,dust to dust Thatcher's Britain has gone bust Chesterfield is no longer the proud mining community it once was ,just full of poncy coffee shops and empty shop fronts, echoes of slow motion suicide everywhere ya look , As the Lev's sang what happened to my green and pleasant land
Watching this makes me want to go out and protest against poverty, the corrupt Tory’s, the racists and everyone else who is trying to make it hard for the the working class person.

Cariad,
They must be laughing their socks off. Playing to a predominantly English audience who are cheering whilst being called every name they can think of.
The band are English too ☺️
