thank you! I like the butterfly lighting with a styrofoam reflector underneath.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the tips 🤝
Thanks for watching, glad you like it!
Very useful! I've always found lighting the hardest part of photography / videography
It's always a bit scary when you first start, but once you've mastered the very basics it makes the whole thing a lot less daunting 👍
👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️🤩
👍
wondering which is better to invest in, continuous light or flash? great vid!
Thanks for the comment! It depends on how you shoot really. If you're just starting out and you tend to shoot wide open a lot then a continuous light much easier as you can see the results without having the snap a photo. But, you won't be able to shoot with smaller apertures without having to crank the ISO. I hope this helps!
Nice one. Very helpful :o)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 🤘
I’m new to your channel, loving the vids! I really like the split lighting. What would you recommend for a portrait beginner for a light? Also please keep the APS-C vids coming 👌🏻
Thanks for the comment! I'll absolutely keep the APS-C videos coming - I have s few lined up for the new year, but you're always welcome to make suggestions on on what you'd like to see ☺️
As for lighting, I recently made a video on why continuous in lights are best in for total beginners (th-cam.com/video/ZRXb5DdNB6E/w-d-xo.html) which might be helpful. Any questions, just shout 👍🏻
