- Hi Guys! In this video I'll be discussing about some of the annoying cons in the tata punch 2024 model. Tata punch is one of the best car in its segment and definitely has set a benchmark in terms of sales record, but like every other car this tata punch has some of the cons that you must know if you are planning buy this all new tata punch. As a disclaimer, whatever cons I'm mentioning right now are very normal and doesn't really makes this var bad in anyway. But just for the safe of information I would like you watch it till the end if you are planning to buy one for yourself.

Agree with most of the points. Have been using AMT version for last 15 months. Issues : 1 Brake pedal ...many times very hard press to start.
2. AMT gear box gets stuck and does not move in intended direction. Need to reverse & then front...

I own tata punch 2023 model;
Mileage In City: 12-13 kmpl
On Highway: 19-20kmpl
But when I switch from highway to city then within no time it drop mileage drastically from 20- 16kmpl.
I think on lower gears or in slow speed this car not tuned properly for mileage.

I recently drove to Nepal via Kalimpong and in no way I found it under power!

Mai bhi Pure version le raha hu. Kuch features ke liye itna jyada paisa dene ka man nahi. Music in future laga lunga kiyuki music while driving itna nahi sunta

Honestly no drawbacks in this car,i derived this SUV at a speed of 165 km for only 5 minutes for just to check on nagpur Mumbai express way, Tata punch is extremely good it's my view,and good indigenous SUV

When Car seat is full by 5 pessangers, it's AC won't work at all, and on full AC it drop all its pickup power.

City you can get 14 and 15 Highway you get 25 to 26 depends on your drive it’s does well on highway I raise for about 60 km daily it’s heave build assurance of better safety that why I buyed it I have driven 36000km

Safety first
I own bs6 phase 2 Braking is not good, at high speed 100kmph. When ac is ON it makes little noise outside but you can't hear any noise or vibration inside the cabin. If AC is off , then there will be zero noise at ouside. Ac is very powerful it will cool very fast. Mileage is decent on highway i get 19-20kmpl at 80-90kmph speed. In city 14kmpl 😢
Simple decision- its good for family (3-4) and for beginners (safety & confidence).
Front bumper and rear bumper spoil the looks of the car.
I have been driving it from last 8 months. It is a decent car guys. I haven't feel anything with performance like overtaking on highways but yes on hills it feels underpower.
Average 14-15 on city and 20-21 on highways.
2 negative that I feel is it's door locking system and the cabin light when you lock your car sometimes it doesn't turn off.

I bought Punch because i had below parameters to met-
1. Must be with auto transmission
2. Safety
3. Lowest price in the market
4. Good looks
5. Good mileage (extracted 24kmpl in 850km with punch)
All 5 are fully met 💯. There is no 🚗 with these parameters @8.25L on road except tata punch.
I made data driven decision and am happy with that. Rest no body know what awaits in future.

I own this car for the last 2 years without ANY complaints. This is the only car in the Indian market which gives more value for money than any other car. My friends have almost all other brands. They are costlier with less features and less safely.
Yes same here as no major complaint so far but is Air conditioning which could have been better.

I have a cng model...on petrol it gives around 12 to 14 in city ...on highway upto 20 ....CNG it gives 16 to 18 per kg ...I received 30+ on highway...
I own accomplished AMT as my first car. Yes it feels bit underpowered but it is most roughest and toughest car. My car was dashed by tata Nexon and Baleno from back, not a single scratch but Nexon had a dent and Baleno's Bonet was gone!! This is because a good quality Carbon fibre is used instead of plastic or metal.
Average I get tank to tank on highway is 18 to max 20 where on MID it shows 22. With AC I get 16 to 18 average.
Another con is AC. It performs poorly in summer.

I m single driver myself, means nobody rides with me because I have non, yes weight and power ratio not matching. I am hopeful after all service over fuel consumption will increase. As of now 17 kph
Never go for AMT, creep mode is havoc, specially in traffic, you can't handle it the manual way.

Are Tata cars good after 5 years. I have maruti swift now in its 11 year done 1,10,000 km.
My cousin sold his Tiago manual exactly after 5 years and it was in good condition. Punch amt won't give that confidence and I'm 100% sure about this. I'm the owner of punch amt and regret it till today for not buying the altroz manual or i20 sportz manual.
When you talk about the weight most peoples feel good to drive a heavy car, i have lots a friends who have maruti they told me they don't feel good when they drive alone because the weight it's too lightly but when there's some people inside the car they feel much better 😅..

When somebody or something
is at the top there are some people ready to criticize, 1 must keep in mind it is not 25 lac or 20 lac car. At this price range it's an overall good package. I am using Scross diesel 1.2 lts. in city conditions I never get more than 10 to 11kms that too without ac. It's a huge piece of junk, first & second gear the engine really stuggles hard
