So this is obviously more a meme, I just figured this would make for a fun little video besides we get to see this SUPER RARE Pz 1 F in action! 80mm of armor but only 2 MG34s? More "serious" videos coming, including more COOP Conquest and some awesome multiplayer action!

Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront is aimed to convey the realism that strategy players have always desired: Historically accurate visuals and locations, no health bars, no simplifications, no shortcuts taken. Offering unrivalled immersion to give the most legitimate WWII RTS/RTT to date.
If you have long been waiting for a game that depicts the daring stories read in the books and you crave for a platform that allows you to recreate the battles you imagined from documentaries, then look no further: It is time to enter the Gates of Hell.
The DLC for Call to Arms features the Eastern Front and its “Great Patriotic War” fought between the USSR and Germany. This will take you from June 1941 until the end of the war in May 1945. The game will depict the evolution of the armies and technology during the most devastating conflict of human history.
All the maps and locations have been painstakingly recreated after thorough research from WWII documents combined with satellite and period photo-reconnaissance data.
Single Player missions are based on battle reports and veterans’ stories, delivering authenticity to the maximum extent possible.

Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf. F - anti-partisan tank. It was used quite successfully against partisans on the eastern front and in the Balkans. For today, two tanks have survived - in Belgrade and in the Museum in Kubinka.
This one as pz2j were experiments with breakthrough, and it kinda didnt worked so it went to back lines, and there were few dozens of each fighting

Pretty sure that tank was designed as a partisan support tank and used as a breaching tank to support Case Blue, I think military history visualized has a video on it.

The Panzer I Ausf. F was intended to be a breakthrough tank light enough to cross combat bridges built by army engineers. Reportedly some saw action against fortified strongpoints around Leningrad in late '42. But, as many have noted before me, they ended up being used mostly against partisans. 'Only 30 out of the 100 ordered were ever produced' (Wrong)
Edit: Two orders were made before production started. One for 30 and one for an additional 100 tanks. The order of 30 was completed, the order of 100 was cancelled before production started.
What was the reason for so many not being manufactured ?
@@jostonpowell1346 I have made a mistake in my post. There was an initial order of 30 as well as an additional order of 100 tanks made before production started. The order of 100 tanks was cancelled.
So that's just a mistake on my part. Sorry about that :l

Those resources probably went to the Tiger, which entered service the same year.

Hey sherman your still making amazing content man! Still love your channel ive got a challenge for you to do play a mission in men of war or gates of hell ostfront but every time you lose a vechicle or run out of ammo you have to use captured enemy equipment like if you lose a tank take its spot with an enemy tank and you have to beat the entire mission with this challenge I like to call the captured equipment challenge still love your vids man!
