Ustaad ji had " aakaar gayaki" With very beautiful voice with range of 3 octaves, and he bring the softness in classical, that's why he called the thumari king. Love BGAK

Acct123 as,With all respect... I am a student who learns from Smt.Shoma Majumdar. She was the disciple of Munnawar Ali Khan Saheb( Son of Bade Ghulam Khan Saheb)
She has taught me this Raag Megh only (Same Bandish). So I think that this is Raag Megh only and not Megh Malhaar as in Megh Malhaar shudhha ni along with komal ni is used ,unlike in this Bandish.. No offense. Just putting forth my view.🙏

Surprised me again profoundly. Even in vilambit, close to Ustad Amir Khan's legendary Megh. It seems most of the boss's greatest renderings are not available in youtube. Extremely unfortunate.These are national treasures.

@@ranjankumarghosal6758 sir, this one i already heard before..but i found the megh of ubgak, more captivating for me .(even it was sung during ustads paralysis health conditions) by captivation i meant ustad bgaks control over the swar and laya along with a great emotional aspect..
@@acct123as3 I beg to differ in only the last 3 words. Megh, not Meghmalhar, is a bit hatke, sombre, solemn raag. AK in vilambit is just that, he makes it his own.
@@ranjankumarghosal6758 so you mean ustad bgak's control over swar, laya and emotional rendition is not a convincing thing for you , do you mean ustad amir khan have more control over swar and laya, with more emotional than ustad bgak, ok thats upto you, and you says ubgak sung another raag not megh??..but how, the same name is given in the name megh..but any way in my ears it was ubgaks rendition was felt a honey pouring effect not amir khans..
