It definitely isn't as easy as it looks! The first time doing this, it took me 4 hours. but I just finished my second one and it took me only an hour! It's something that is really easy to do once you get the hang of it!
Thank you for the video it helped me and my family for arm knitting the first video I used from somebody else they did a crappy job but you guys did amazing amazing
I am in absolute awe of this amazing talent. I could never imagine being able to do this, you have inspired me so much. I just keep watching it over and over, it has such a calming effect.
I just made my first arm knit scarf and I LOVE IT. I was able to follow your video and you took your time thru each step to show how to arm knit a scarf. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
First time ever trying hand knitting, watched this and after a long long while of doing it; I created my own scarf! I was so happy with myself despite me making some of pieces of yarn loose as I couldn't tighten it very much but thank you very much; I'm so happy with my new homemade scarf!!! :)
I just made this scarf by watching your tutorial. Thank you so much! I had so much fun. You made it super simple and you took your time showing the details of "how to". For someone like me, who is a beginner this is the best Arm Knitting Scarf video out there! Trust me, I've seen them all! :-)
i made this today. i love it!! i used 4 strands instead of 2 though as im planning on using it in the snow soon so i wanted it suuuper warm! 2 strands were light grey with silver sparkle & 2 were bright white. its sooo warm & looks very chic!!! :D
By far the best video that I understood. A very simple way to show and there wasn't no talking lol. I think that is why I picked it up faster watching your video. Just made one in less then 30minutes. Thank you so much now I am off to make more lol
Hi i am from NZ and i was watching the video and loved it. I paused every step and wrote the instructions on my ipad notes. I have made 2 so far and will make 4 more now. Thnaks so much "HANDIMANIA".
Okay, I was at a loose end this afternoon (my market was cancelled) and I decided I could do this. I discovered I am not so much a visual learner... lol ... however with perseverance I did it! I can see how addictive it is and I am going to master this ;) Thank you so much for sharing xx
LOVE this video, the pauses, the great camera angle, the music, the fun-spirited participants, everything! Now I just need to get this bulky yarn & master this! ;-)
I have just made one of these not to long ago! I wish I could post a pic of it on your FB page. But these are the best! You put this together so well! Thanks!!
this video was awesome, just finished making my first scarf! i tried a couple other videos but this one was the only one that made sense to me. thank you. :]
This is so inspiring I'm literally going to go straight to the shop tomorrow and make one for my mum's birthday. Just hope I can get the right yarn (looks like it has to be super wide and stretchy). Can't wait!
Welp, I'm afraid that despite many attempts, this just didn't work for me. I was really excited about it after watching the video and went out and bought some great yarn with plans to make one for my mum's birthday and one for my girlfriend, but I was finally defeated. I followed the instructions very carefully, stopping and starting the video and going over and over every step, but the result was always a mess. At certain points I would be left with a spare loop of yarn at the end of a row, despite doing everything exactly as shown, which was confusing. But even when it went more or less to plan, after a number of rows it was clear that it was way too loose - it resembled a fishing net rather than a scarf. Perhaps it was the yarn I used, though it was the chunkiest I could find, but it just never held together in the pleasing way it did in the video. Clearly something was up with my technique as others seem to have managed it, but in the end I had to break out my large needles and do it the old fashioned way. Thanks for the ideas anyway though. Let me know if there are any tips that might help me if I tried it again in future.
Oh my god, thank you sooooo much, this video is awesome. I had NEVER experienced arm knitting before and I just finished my first scarf (in 3 hours, but still xD) ! Very easy once you get used to the technique, I'm sure I'll be able to do it much faster next time. I can't wait to start my next scarf! :)
Thanks for posting this. I was able to make my friends Christmas present that look good and easy enough for me to make. I like that you didn't talk through it as most times it's distracting. For some reason mind don't come out as tight as yours that might mean I need more practice. Thanks again♥
Your video has the best step- by- step sequences and also the best finishing sequence, of all those I have seen, so far. The stitch used to connect the two ends together, is shown particularly well. Looks great! vielen Dank! Dank u wel! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Thank you for this tutorial! I have now made 2 scarves & they came out beautifully. Each took me about 40 minutes. I used regular yarn, I'm not sure why some people said it needs to have stretch to it.
Just made one for a Christmas gift. It's beautiful! I've never tried knitting before but this video made it so simple. Thanks for the WONDERFUL tutorial!! :)
Absolutely engenius. Very nice. I have a Deer "Target" I recycled as a lawn ornament and I've been planning to make a scarf for it and this is just great. Thanks so much,
Great video! Super easy if you already knit. If you don't, allow a bit more time to get used to what you are doing. Did 8 stitches and only one turn around the neck, as my wool was much bigger. But great result! Thanks.
Sweet! I got plenty of yarn since I knit a bit. I'm going to try this out for myself first for a test run, and to get the hang of it. Planning of doing this for Christmas gifts. I love making things for Christmas lol. :) I know they will love it as well.
I made one today. It took some time to figure out the steps. I've never sewn or knitted or anything like that. But I actually made one. There were a few mistakes, but it still looks good. Too bad I can't post photos.
this is awesome! I might actually figure out how to really knit now!! :) ..... looks like I have something to do on my road trip to Chicago this weekend!!
Took me a couple hours of pausing and rewinding to figure it out but I finally got it and have a nice scarf. I was hoping it would be a scarf for fall but might be too warm. I used two 90 yd balls of Loops and Threads Cozy Wool #6 and it is a little tight around the neck wrapping it around twice, almost needed to open up 2 more balls.
This is my first vid eveeeer on the subject.. very well done thank you,!I will make an infinity scarf for a very good friend! Again, thanks for the inspiration!!
the first row was tricky but once i got that one down the rest was nice and easy. great christmas idea! i found pretty wool yarn for $5/skein at michaels, nice and cheap for homemade gifts.
While I agree some vocal guidance would've been nice, I was able to use this tutorial to make a really nice scarf for my friend. I had to watch some parts over and over, but I did get it. Thank you, and I'll be using this for other scarves for sure
Ok.....Im sitting here with my wool and this video ready to go! Wish me luck!! I'll let you know how it goooooes!!! (and I am not usually good at this kind of stuff.....so Im pretty nervous !)
Waw, This is super cool! I'm not very creative, but I really wanted to try this one out! I must say I wasn't very confident I would manage it, but it looks fabulous! You really need to ceep attention though or I fail my movement 'cause I forgot what I was doing, And I used two colours, making it hard on myself doing it for the first time :-) you need to watch out that the loops are symmetric. But it was really fun to do! Just have to put the cat out of the room, 'cause he really loves playing the skeins :-D The next one will be for my babygirl who's almost 3 years old. So I gess i'll make less loops en less long... I made some pics, but I don't now how to put them here. Greets Ine
Replace the yarn with cord and that weaving technique could result in an excellent stop-gap for hikers should their load bearing gear malfunction. By closing off one end after the edges are woven together, it's now a sack or a net.
O, a może na polskojęzycznej wersji zademonstrujecie robienie na drutach dla opornych? Co jest potrzebne, jak robić oczka i tak dalej? Zawsze chciałam się nauczyć, ale wydaje mi się to czarną magią.
This is so interesting!! Thank you for showing this unique way. I have one question thought, I am guessing that if I want it skinner then I should tie less in the beginning, right?
It definitely isn't as easy as it looks! The first time doing this, it took me 4 hours. but I just finished my second one and it took me only an hour! It's something that is really easy to do once you get the hang of it!
I've been an infinity scarf factory the past three days! It's going to be a great Christmas for my family! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you for the video it helped me and my family for arm knitting the first video I used from somebody else they did a crappy job but you guys did amazing amazing
This is awesome! I always wonder when seeing someone knit how the very first person to ever knit something even came up with the idea and technique?!
I am in absolute awe of this amazing talent. I could never imagine being able to do this, you have inspired me so much. I just keep watching it over and over, it has such a calming effect.

So basically knitting but with your hands instead of needles? That's awesome!
These are fantastic. I've made some for my mother and sister a few years ago. This year my wife and Grandma get one.
I have just made one of these not to long ago! I wish I could post a pic of it on your FB page. But these are the best! You put this together so well! Thanks!!

How beautiful this scarf is!
Thank you for this tutorial! I have now made 2 scarves & they came out beautifully. Each took me about 40 minutes. I used regular yarn, I'm not sure why some people said it needs to have stretch to it.
