Telling me what I wanted to hear only to keep me around and never catching any real feelings for me. Things like “I love you”, “I wanna have your baby”, and “you’re perfect”, all lies. This destroyed my self esteem.. and I still haven’t really recovered a year later. She is all I know, and all I know is manipulation. Because of that, it makes me wonder if I’m even worthy of the real thing. If I even DESERVE the real thing. It feels like… like I should just accept the fact that any relationship I have with someone won’t be genuine. And there will always be some ulterior motive to someone wanting to get that close to me. I just found this channel today and I’ve been binging these. But this one earned my sub. Thank you for making this. And sorry for the long message

You did an absolutely amazing job of conveying the love that Mess felt for the listener and her sadness and anger at how the listener was treated before she met them, Mindful! These kinds of audios are always incredibly beautiful and wonderfully heartfelt. I think it’d be a really cute and very sweet idea for a part 2 to have the listener trying to love themselves by taking themselves out on a date to build their self-esteem back up, with Mess getting emotional over the listener saying nice things about themselves without being self-deprecating. A silly theme played seriously because the listener wants to see themselves the way their girlfriend does.
