Just bought the 2.8 Jeep liberty, can't thank you enough for these videos including the ones for the Timing Belt and EGR delete. Thanks a million, Lee in South Africa.
+Lee Lutya congrats on your new purchase! thank you for the comment! It is great to hear our videos really do help people in countries all over the world!
These are gold extremely helpful videos for infrequent kj diyers. Thank you so much cos it relieves much of the need for thumbing through the 6 volumes of full repair manuals or the digital fsm's. You have truly saved me at the very least dozens of hours. Eternally grateful. Cheers and thanks again.
Hello, can you do a video on how to replace Tension belt and idler bearings.and can you please give me the size of all 3 idler bearings and the tension belt to be replace.is there available parts we can avail here in the Philippines?or can we buy it locally of the said parts.thank you.hope to here from you
Is this all, necessary for doing the timing belt job? I'm going to,be attempting it soon, and I want as much knowledge as I can before I start the job. I was also wondering can I remove the electric fans way without taking out the radiator?
Third try, the previous attempts got messed up by political ads. 2005 Liberty, deer strike. My experience is the cross support is welded. 4 inch angle grinder cut off disc, and reciprocating saw. If you are feeling adventurous, maybe a hand drill for spot welds. I left as much of the frame junctions as I could, and cut the cross bar. Salvage yard sourced a replacement, cut as close to the frames as I could. This allowed extra material for fitment and reinforcement. Theoretically, self tapping bolts could complete the install with gussets, but a wire welder is what I used.
Would you be able to provide me a model number of that front hitch? I’ve been searching for one for the longest time ever. Can’t seem to find any credible sources that would say if it would fit our liberties.
+brpboyyyy I do believe a little modifying of the front bumper is necessary however this is speculation as ours was fully equipped when we purchased our jeep

Do you think it is possible to change the time belt and the water pump just by removing the radiator fan shroud and the fan blade with the clutch ?
+Ri Vi absolutely should be possible, we only removed as much as we did for filming and to show the entire removal but is not completely necessary.
3:52 What size bolts hold on the radiator fan?
+Jay Scott ANDERSON I do belive they are 10mm.. hope this helps!
Does anyone know how to remove the metal bumper reinforcement bar?

+brpboyyyy you can pick one up off Amazon for about $115, it's the CURT Front Mount Hitch #31022. Hope this helps!
Git It Garage was the installation straight forward?? No need for additional fabrications??

A/C transmission cooler?
Not sure I understand your question...we do have a transmission cooler its aftermarket.
On the CRD, it’s one integrated unit
Is this a 2006?
2005 All though a 2006 should be fairly similar if not identical
