Seeing the dry build of the body is very encouraging and the RSR panels give extra kudos to the build in that the model is so rare anyway. Great body choice Andy.
I’m not much of an engineering guru Im afraid bud, Subaru and VW is a fairly tried and tested method of upgrading a vw based beetle/buggy/sand rail. If you’re new to this like me then a vw based kit or beetle it’s quite a good route to go as it’ll teach you the fundamentals of it all. If you’re more experienced then you’ll need someone with more experience 😎👌
@darryldaveditucalan9869 Excellent! It’s only taken me that long because I’ve sand blasted and painted every single thing and had to work out the Subaru conversion from scratch and I’m a perfectionist 😆 Still lots to do!
@darryldaveditucalan9869 It’s all a challenge. You just need to be able to think your way through each aspect of the build. Working out how to mount the radiator, reinforcing the engine/gearbox mount and remaking the chassis were some of the most challenging.
