lol it never occurred to me that cut resistant gloves weren't well known. They were pretty standard safety equipment when I worked in a bakery. They saved my fingers a couple of times when I had to use the bread slicer
They would have been chain mail gloves. I, briefly, had a job in a Butcher's in 1980 and they had them. You only got one, for the knife less hand, and it was quite heavy as it was stainless steel.
These gloves look way cooler and a lot lighter.

Another excellent video full of cool, unexpected gadgets! The bone conduction headphones reminded me of this Kickstarter from years ago that were sunglasses that were supposed to be like Bluetooth bone conducting headphones. Like, you could hear your music without everyone else hearing it. Apparently it was basically a flop. I wonder if the mouth part such as in this product could've saved/improved upon that idea.
Hopefully we will have these abilities in the future if our tech is advanced

I speak Chinese and that translating device was very accurate
The language translation tool is very impressive. And at 100 bucks, I might actually get one. The ability to translate voice nearly instantly, offline at that, is almost priceless. Sure, we can use our phones, but a dedicated offline hardware device is much more practical

did this video make me spend all my money on super powers.
for the language translator, I can't tell you how helpful that would've been for me a few years back. I worked with a lot of J1s (out of country workers, on a J1 program). Most of them spoke english from a classroom setting, so speaking naturally with them could leave a lot of misunderstandings.
but the J1s aside, I had a couple from china, touring the country. their daughter was the only one that spoke english, but she was asleep when I spoke to them, as we were a hotel, so them sleeping in their camper was considered theft of service (I worked security, so it was my job to kick anyone sleeping in campers off property). Anyhow, this encounter is what really makes me want that language translator. I had to use google translate to communicate, which was far from perfect, but managed to get the point across.
but due to the language barrier, I decided to allow them to sleep, so long as they were gone when the sun came up. and they were, thankfully. but for every person from other countries, I had at least 3 germans that either couldn't or could barely speak english. which is why I'm now learning german.

For the invisibility shield, you probably weren't holding it the right way. It uses the same technology as polarized sunglasses, meaning that it refracts light from a certain angle, but lets it through from another. Try flipping it 90° (CW or CCW, doesn't matter) and it should offer better results. Also, the object you want to make disappear must be close to the shield, so that it can pick up light from more angles.

The insect device is just a placebo. you can get the same effect with ANY sort of heating.
The Bug bite suppressor - would it work on photo-reactive hives ? These come to folks who are naieve or super sensitive to HCL - hydrochloride salts , same stuff as stomach acid .
These hives are real itchy & very difficult to neutralize any other way .
"Funfact" about the Face Reveal. We will never get one since this channel isnt lead by two guys. Its a whole team. I think they hire writers, animators etc and the two we hear, are just the voice actor. But this doesnt make this channel bad, instead this is the way why this channel is so good and upload long videos in a short time. Totally enjoy it, keep your work up!

They sold Ghostbuster Kinex type figures each with their own "hologram" ghost which amounted to one of these nifty little plastic boxes. Pretty cool stuff for a kid to have these days, back when I was a kid something like that was only in futuristic movies and shows, I now it's not an actual hologram but still just the tech alone to make it all happen being affordably available to the masses is kinda staggering in how fast it's happened.

I have a variety of those same gloves that has additional reinforcement on the fingers. They are not cut-proof, and they straight up advertise it six ways til tuesday "do not try to cut yourself, because you will succeed." They're there to give you some extra protection in the event you slip up, they're not supposed to be armor.
