He's back, finally the A+ content we all are waiting for... Great job. We so many MTB channels I find only a couple interesting enough to watch. Berm Peak is at the top of the list always providing creative storytelling content. Single Track Sampler as well as their friend Johnny at Crafted Workshop also provides excellent storytelling content, just wish Alex produced more than one video every 2 months. I can no longer watch boring trail riding content.. they all look the same.

Hi, I started making my own trail with 2 other friends, we have a shovel and 2 spades, it's quite easy when the mud is soggy and its easy to hack at and break it down so the track can be smooth. We found a forest with some already-made jumps but they are way too big for us so we found this path that we are making our own on for leaning how to jump.

as an equipment operator by trade, you picked that up well! Do keep in mind they make some extremely small excavators that are plenty powerful some only 3ft wide which are great for getting in tiny places. the 301.5 from CAT is in my book the best tiny excavator for cutting mountain bike trails because is arguably just as wide as most trails already are.
seth, you inspired me to biuld my own trials in my backyard. I dont have any wooden features, just a flat shovel and a rake, i have 2 trails and very fun to ride. thank you

So pumped for more building! Speaking from experience, don't leave keys or phone in pocket when in the excavator. All the movement they slide out then end up on the ground 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Hope all the go pro gear is ok. Not sure if anyone hires wacker neuson excavators near you @berm peak but some models have vds which levels the cab makes it a lot less sketchy on side angles.
