SM vocals are no joke, basically all around. But Taeil's vocals are always at goosebump level. You should check out their dance practice videos as well. Prepare to be amazed by the fact that they can dance as well as they sing. If you view live concerts, you'll find that they do them both, at the same time at an amazing level. This Killing Voice performance, as the title indicates, is supposed to showcase NCT-127's outstanding vocals, so just like in EXO's Killing Voice performance, what you are hearing is a complication of some of the best parts of their songs that highlight their vocal abilities. They have a lot of songs, so you are only hearing a small fraction of them and only a few lines of each of the songs (And in some cases, they are singing parts from the middle of the song, so it may sound different when you listen to the actual song.) Also, several of these songs are B-side tracks, so they don't have MVs. Because NCT is an SM Entertainment group, it shouldn't be a surprise that they are also amazing singers. SM is known for having some of the best singers in the industry. You can't be an SM artist without having unbelievable vocal abilities. Even the company's rappers focus on vocal training. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. All of SM's artists and groups are known for being top tier when it comes to live vocals and perfect harmonies. And, switching up the beat and style of the song in the middle of the song is pretty much how the majority of NCT songs are structured, as well as SM's songs in general. It's kind of SM's signature style. You will hear that same thing happen in a lot of the songs you listen to from SM. In this performance there are 9 members -- from left to right: *Johnny (lead vocalist and sub-rapper), Yuta (lead vocalist), Haechan (main vocalist), *Taeyong (leader of all of NCT, main rapper and dancer), Jungwoo (main vocalist), Taeil (main vocalist), Doyoung (main vocalist), *Mark (main rapper and dancer) and *Jaehyun (main vocalist and sub-rapper). Fun fact: What you heard was the Korean version of "Highway to Heaven," but if you watch the MV for the song, you will see they also have an all-English version. ("Highway to Heaven" was released during their North American leg of their concert tour in 2019.) They have an all-English version of some of their songs because NCT-127 promotes a lot in the U.S. "Faster" was just an (INST) instrumental version of the song, which means it's just the music and they don't sing. "Faster (INST)" was the intro to "2 Baddies," so Johnny was supposed to be introducing "2 Baddies" at that moment while "Faster" was playing. "2 Baddies" was their most recent comeback song at the time and the whole reason why they were on Dingo's Killing Voice was to promote "2 Baddies," which is why you heard that whole song, "Designer" was also a song on their 2 Baddies album. NCT is one of the most internationally diverse groups in all of Kpop. The members as a whole currently represent 8 different countries and they speak 7 or 8 different languages. NCT is a group that is constantly changing and rearranging its members and sound and we never know quite what to expect from them. With a concept that allows the members to rotate between sub-units, changing, adding and subtracting members depending on the concept and style of the group or song, you should never expect the same thing from them. You are better off always expecting something new, that somehow, also ends up sounding very much like NCT. LOL NCT is SM's attempt at taking over the music industry around the world. SM's original goal was to eventually have NCT sub-units representing every major city in every country in the world. They soon will be adding new members and creating a Japanese sub-unit. It has always been SM's plan to have world domination. And to that point, right now NCT-127 is the group that SM is using to try and get their foothold in the U.S. music market with all English versions of song like "Regular" and "Highway to Heaven" and collaborations with American artists such as Jason Derulo, as well as U.S. concert tours and promotional tours with the American media, etc. So, this year is NCT's 7th anniversary, but debut dates are different for any number of members because it all depends on when they were added to the group. Idk who did the subtitles for the video, but for their song "highway to Heaven" they put the lyrics for the English version. The lyrics for the Korean version which is the one they were singing in this video is different. NCT, especially NCT 127 are heavily Hip Hop and RnB based so if that's your cup of tea you'll like them. One thing to note is that they are VERY experimental with their production, especially with the title tracks which is why a lot of ppl don't like them and call their music "noise music". But it's the best noise music you'll hear haha. First, the leader + main rapper (yeaah when you were OHMYGOD! at @3:18) + centre + visual + songwriter + main dancer (also choreographer) + singer of NCT127 and whole NCT is LEE TAEYONG (the 1st guy who spoken with with hair). Plus, he is now global brand ambassador of Loewe.
Second, NCT is a whole name of the group and right now has 20 members (before was 23). NCT split into NCT127, NCT Dream, NCT U & WayV. If you want to know NCT concept is “infinite” expansion that's why the members become large & sub-unit too. Now the new team concept will come to an end in 2023, where the last sub-unit will create is NCT Tokyo.
NCT Tokyo will debut 2 members (confirm) + other members (where the other members will be chosen through a pre-debut reality show). So yeah in future the NCT will complete become 25+ members maybe just wait...

SM vocals are no joke, basically all around. But Taeil's vocals are always at goosebump level. You should check out their dance practice videos as well. Prepare to be amazed by the fact that they can dance as well as they sing. If you view live concerts, you'll find that they do them both, at the same time at an amazing level. I can barely talk while I'm on the elliptical. LOL

This Killing Voice performance, as the title indicates, is supposed to showcase NCT-127's outstanding vocals, so just like in EXO's Killing Voice performance, what you are hearing is a complication of some of the best parts of their songs that highlight their vocal abilities. They have a lot of songs, so you are only hearing a small fraction of them and only a few lines of each of the songs (And in some cases, they are singing parts from the middle of the song, so it may sound different when you listen to the actual song.) Also, several of these songs are B-side tracks, so they don't have MVs.
Because NCT is an SM Entertainment group, it shouldn't be a surprise that they are also amazing singers. SM is known for having some of the best singers in the industry. You can't be an SM artist without having unbelievable vocal abilities. Even the company's rappers focus on vocal training. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. All of SM's artists and groups are known for being top tier when it comes to live vocals and perfect harmonies.
And, switching up the beat and style of the song in the middle of the song is pretty much how the majority of NCT songs are structured, as well as SM's songs in general. It's kind of SM's signature style. You will hear that same thing happen in a lot of the songs you listen to from SM.
In this performance there are 9 members -- from left to right: *Johnny (lead vocalist and sub-rapper), Yuta (lead vocalist), Haechan (main vocalist), *Taeyong (leader of all of NCT, main rapper and dancer), Jungwoo (main vocalist), Taeil (main vocalist), Doyoung (main vocalist), *Mark (main rapper and dancer) and *Jaehyun (main vocalist and sub-rapper).
Taeil is the oldest of all of NCT and he is currently 29 and Haechan is the youngest in NCT-127 at 23. However, if you want to know who is the youngest out of all the NCT members, that would currently be NCT-Dream member, Jisung, who is 21.
NCT -- which stands for Neo (a pop culture term that means new/original) Culture Technology -- currently has 20 members. And the group right now as a whole has 4 sub-units -- NCT-U, NCT-127, NCT-Dream and WayV.
NCT-127 is NCT's second sub-unit, which debuted in July 2016. NCT-127 currently has 9 or 10 members. This group is more of a fixed unit, so the member lineup stays the same most of the time. The 127 in this unit's name stands for the longitude coordinates of Seoul, South Korea, on a map of the world, which means it's 127's job to represent Seoul -- the birthplace of Kpop -- around the world.
Therefore, some of NCT-127's songs are part of NCT-127 mini albums and other songs are part of full albums that include songs from all of NCT's sub-units. Hence, why some of the album descriptions mention NCT-127 and others just say NCT.
"Fire Truck" was NCT-127's debut song, and at that time there were only 7 members of NCT who were in the "Fire Truck" MV -- Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Taeil, Yuta, Winwin and Haechan. However, now that NCT has 9/10 members they also include Johnny and Jungwoo in the song whenever they perform it.
For their song "Touch", the part at the beginning where Mark said, "ummm ...", that was actually part of the song. If you listen to the full song, you will hear him do the same thing in the MV.
Fun fact: What you heard was the Korean version of "Highway to Heaven," but if you watch the MV for the song, you will see they also have an all-English version. ("Highway to Heaven" was released during their North American leg of their concert tour in 2019.) They have an all-English version of some of their songs because NCT-127 promotes a lot in the U.S.
"Faster" was just an (INST) instrumental version of the song, which means it's just the music and they don't sing. "Faster (INST)" was the intro to "2 Baddies," so Johnny was supposed to be introducing "2 Baddies" at that moment while "Faster" was playing. "2 Baddies" was their most recent comeback song at the time and the whole reason why they were on Dingo's Killing Voice was to promote "2 Baddies," which is why you heard that whole song, "Designer" was also a song on their 2 Baddies album.
NCT is one of the most internationally diverse groups in all of Kpop. The members as a whole currently represent 8 different countries and they speak 7 or 8 different languages. For example, there are 9 native Korean members (*Taeyong, Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan, *Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, and Jungwoo), *Mark is Korean-Canadian, *Johnny is Korean-American (from Chicago), Yuta is Japanese, *Ten is Thai, *YangYang is Taiwanese but he grew up in Germany, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members (WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle). However, they all live and work in Korea, so everyone speaks Korean fluently. Plus, many members have attended international schools or lived abroad, so there are several members who are also *fluent in English, on top of speaking 2 or more other languages.
NCT is a group that is constantly changing and rearranging its members and sound and we never know quite what to expect from them. With a concept that allows the members to rotate between sub-units, changing, adding and subtracting members depending on the concept and style of the group or song, you should never expect the same thing from them. You are better off always expecting something new, that somehow, also ends up sounding very much like NCT. LOL
NCT is SM's attempt at taking over the music industry around the world. SM's original goal was to eventually have NCT sub-units representing every major city in every country in the world. They soon will be adding new members and creating a Japanese sub-unit. It has always been SM's plan to have world domination. And to that point, right now NCT-127 is the group that SM is using to try and get their foothold in the U.S. music market with all English versions of song like "Regular" and "Highway to Heaven" and collaborations with American artists such as Jason Derulo, as well as U.S. concert tours and promotional tours with the American media, etc.
So, this year is NCT's 7th anniversary, but debut dates are different for any number of members because it all depends on when they were added to the group. And many of the members of NCT actually became recognized by fans even before debut because they were part of SM's pre-debut group project called SMRookies, so SM did activities with several of the members before they debuted.

This was my favorite Killing Voice... until I saw NCT Dream. You will see two members from this band in Dream as well. Pink hair shines in Dream.
I really like the girl in the middle. Maybe mainly because white hair dude is my bias with leather jacket dude. Taeyong he is the Leader, Center, Face Of The Group, Visual, Main Rapper, Main Dancer and Sub Vocalist.
Doyoung is one of the Mein Vocalists. One of Taeyongs best friends with the 95 line being
Yuta(blonde hair) who is a Sub Vocalist, Sub Rapper and Lead Dancer the same for Johnny(grey hair, far left).
The oldest is Taeil who as well is one of the Main Vocalists and love the appreciation you give him.

Idk who did the subtitles for the video, but for their song "highway to Heaven" they put the lyrics for the English version. The lyrics for the Korean version which is the one they were singing in this video is different.
NCT, especially NCT 127 are heavily Hip Hop and RnB based so if that's your cup of tea you'll like them. One thing to note is that they are VERY experimental with their production, especially with the title tracks which is why a lot of ppl don't like them and call their music "noise music". But it's the best noise music you'll hear haha.
