Oh Bro Fucking hell same. A lot operator in Arknights can be a cute and amazing Waifu. But if ask which one is the most beautiful i will immedietly say Whisperain, and i meant it. You can literally just watch her do mundane thing like reading and you can watch her for hours straight, She is just that captivating.
I love her E2 art because it's just so elegant and beautiful and I love the usage of the big umbrella... but I always raise my eyebrows when I see the syringes unsafely placed at her thigh 😅
there's this bit of agony here in the video, not only from whisperain frail body, but also from letting a drone walk through blue box while pozy typewriter can be used. the suffering is real...
Despite being the same archetype, I don't think she competes directly with Lumen. The nature of her 20% HOTs and fast attack speed makes her more of an AOE healer than a single target healer. Her range is amazing, and the HOTs are unaffected by the range penalty. This makes her a beast in IS and SSS, covering multiple lanes instead of an AOE healer. While Whisperain can't directly counter elemental, she does reduce the penalties from it by 50%. None of the AOE medics have anything to offer elemental. They can't heal 1 unit faster (like Whisperain faster attack repeatedly bumping up 1 op) and they can't mitigate some of the resulting penalties from elemental (like Whisperain status). This makes her preferable to all AOE medics in most IS and SSS. Though Ptilopsis still retains value as an SP batt, and Nightingale in Arts specific maps.
You can heal normally unhealable Operators in Integrated Strategies: Phantom & Crimson Troupe when you obtain relic that grants status resist to Operators in Medic's range regardless if they are heatable or not, that applies Tower of Life talent.
I got Whisperrain from one of the recent permanent banners. Sad to say I, indeed, got Lumen and built him up, but she'll definitely be my next Medic to build once my current priorities are done. Thank you for the informative video!
If you use Whisperain then M1 skill 1 is really useful, it reduces the SP cost (offensive recover) to 2 sp. After every second heal she gives status resistance for 5 seconds almost able to keep it up permanently on two operators. Her second skill gives the passive with module basically 20% of her attack per second to anyone who has resist, and with the module she passively has resist as well, basically giving over 100hp/s to anyone with resist including herself. I user her a lot, partially because I don't have Lumen leveled up and even on game modes like Integrated strategies she is cheaper to get and upgrade and her skill 1 really scales with relics.
Worth mentioning that with module she have permanent passive regen since every ally in her range benefits from her talent, including herself, which is not something crazy, but gives her better survivability in case you need it (or alternatively she just don't give a shit about red mist in red sert stages or some IS2 stages too) And please give me her skin rerun, although I don't use her much often nowadays BUT SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL WITH IT~
@@kosmosXcannon if they will have status resistance somehow, then yeah, sure, but since Whisperain herself can't apply it to unhealable targets, the only way to practically use it is IS2 item, which gives all allies within medic range status resistance (although I'm not sure if it affect summons too)
I recommend Whisperain S1M1, to shorten SP cost to 2. It's insane in IS2 with the spinach / spaghetti relics, and her range solves a lot of the awkward positioning issues. Also, Whisperain is one of those medics who benefits the most from Skalter S2. Faster attack speed, faster healing, greater base attack, it makes her able to support Surtr ER team efficiently, from 4 medics and 3 healing defenders to 3 medics and 3 healing defenders.
Whisperain replaced Silence as my main medic when she was released, but now that Lumen is out, I haven't used her all that much anymore. I really enjoyed utilizing her on demand health regeneration, though Lumen's more consistent status resistance beats that out for me
I have her s2m3 since she came out, absurd healing output when s2 is charged. Though since Lumen came out I find he does her job better with immediate cc cleansing. I haven't used Whisperain since, but before then I used her almost everywhere and she's still a go to in my IS2 runs Whisperain as the best therapist isn't true sadly, but she's solid.
Having Whisperain and Lumen on chapter 6 was really sweet. And while there is reduction from the trait, that extra range can be really useful, letting you to get away with having only one medic on some stages.
As soemone that have her at max lv m6 mod lv3, i'm proud to say that i love her and she is my number one medic. Although she sadly got outclassed by lumen and purestream got better modul, but i still love her
I am a new player and I have to wait before Stultifera Navis gets its Record Restoration. Got her in the gacha and love her design but wondered if I should build her. After this video, I thought of building her so thank you for showing me what she can do.
I've had her E1'd basically since Mudrock's and Roscat's banner and she has served me well. I haven't E2'd Lumen yet so I still use her from time to time.
(constructive criticism ahead) Your description has a typo, one of the showcase leaks enemies, a lot of the showcases did not strive to show off whisp's and more of just curb stomping the stage with dpses and less reliant on actually showing off the use of her moveset. You have done this a lot of times in the past, but I consider the other aspects to be quite well off. I hope you try to improve.
Huh. When i read her talent, it said that she can heal a % of her attack every second for a few second on an operator affected by status resistance in her range. But it also said that it doesn't apply with her trait. Then it got me thinking. What did it actually meant? Did it meant that her (healing reduced by 80% when healing allies further in her range)? Or did it meant to her module talent (gains "Status Resistance" and is less likely to be attacked). I thought of the of the second aforementioned, making me think that her talent doesn't passively work from her module upgrade
It took me a while to realize this, but you're right. Her module removes the 80% reduction. Since you need to upgrade and equip the module to have access to the improved talent, I assume the trait mentioned in the module refers to the new trait with the less likely to be attacked. In the end, I'm not sure which one tbh XD... but thanks for bringing that up
I wish i could sugarcoat this but i dont really have the words to do so Your statement that Whisperain is "the best 5 star therapist medic" just plain sucks. I want to be nicer than that but its just how it is. And this isnt even some crazy revelation, because her competition, Ceylon, doesnt have a functioning talent, and her skills suck. So through minimal deduction, one can conclude that yes, whisperain is the better 5 star medic there. What i'm trying to say is to try not to make redundant or painfully obvious statements as the point of your video. Additionally, your title is proven to be false through the same example. You failed to showcase whisperain's role as a therapist medic, as during your ch6 showcase, you let one drone pass because your snipers were frozen, which actively goes against your argument. If Lumen were in that situation with s3 up, the drone would not have leaked. Please consider your words and footage usage more carefully in the future, as these mistakes just make you look silly.
Lumen is mediocre base slave. Whisperain has low hope cost. Her talent is good to support other medic and IS relic as well. Lumen skill 3 isn't infinity like Whisperain s2, unless you only use him for healing, in that Eyjaalter just outclass both of them. With Eyjaberry into the mix, Whisperain has a bit more value to rise than Lumen now.
I admit, with no shame, I raised her because she is beautiful.
