Would this be a considerable upgrade from the Intimidator 350 spots in terms of brightness? I'm looking to add a new pair of moving heads for larger venues & gymnasiums.
If you are wanting a good moving head I would recommend the Intimidator 355. If you are looking for a good starter special effects light I would say the Swarm wash.
hey dj jer , i have ordered a pack of 4 with cases and they are on back order , but have been looking if these have powercon or regular power cords , ive seen both
sergio champion the new ones will be powercon from what I heard. I wish I had powercon but I got mine as soon as they came out. the powercon is such a nice upgrade to us as consumers at no extra cost.
i want to know. 455z or the hybrid. which one would be the better light. for multiple use. i do a lot of stage production for bands weddings. i own 350 intimidator spot . looking to up grade since i upgraded the pars last year. now its moving heads
James banks jr this is a pretty popular question. We purchased 8 of the Intimidator hybrids and they are being rented for 3 weeks. that being said, I think they provide more value for production companies which may be a great avenue for additional revenue by renting them out. once I get them back from rental I will be doing a bunch more videos on the hybrids. I really feel they are game changing and it is my must have fixture for 2017.
No not even close. It is in a plastic housing and has cooling fans. These bulbs are very efficient and bright. Don't touch the bulb when it is running though ;)
Your actual question is how many amps. The reason I bring this up is because a 15amp outlet won't hold what a 20amp outlet will. Does that make sense? So you will draw about 2.5 amps per unit. I wouldn't recommend more that 5 units on each. Does this help?
I don't know enough about the vizibeam to give you a comparison. These lights are built tough and have been amazing for us. It looks like the RXONE is a beam only fixture compared to the 3 in 1 hybrid. I feel that gives you more versatility and more options. I hope this helps
djjermusic oh yeah! U mean it won't do those designs and stuff? Yeah I figured.. I just like how diverse the color schemes for them are! I'll have to do my research to make a final decision!
maizesoft the Intimidator 455z would be the closest thing. all depends on how you use it to function the same but the hybrid is for real. why not interested in a lamp version. still gonna run efficient.
Another great video/review. Thanks for sharing Jerr.
I'm deciding between this 140sr Hybrid and the Spot 375zx? Which would you reccomend?
Same here. Also, does this Hybrid 140SR do totem mode?

DJ Samir yes this would blow the 350s out of the water. these lights would be perfect for large venue!!
What kind of lighting would recommend for a Beginning DJ. Mainly doing School Dances, Parties, weddings and sweet 15s.

Does this unit have sound to light?

What's the best wireless dmx controller to use for chauvet moving heads

ok thanks. one more question. does the fixture get as hot as a source 4.

How loud are the fans?
Hello Jer
I have the Chauvet Intimidators Hybrid 140 on the Glo Totem 2.0
How can I secure them?
OJ loera I would recommend going to the hardware store and buying a bolt and wing nut to secure them to the top of the totem. Does that make sense?
Do these draw a lot of power? How many can you run on one wall outlet?

@@djjermusic Yes! Thank you!
I'm debating between these or the ADJ vizibeam RXONES...

Does this fixture have an electronic shutter or is it mechanical?
Mechanical. With this style of fixture it is to sustain the bulb.
is there a led version of this kind of hybrid light?
maizesoft the Intimidator 455z would be the closest thing. all depends on how you use it to function the same but the hybrid is for real. why not interested in a lamp version. still gonna run efficient.
don't the LEDs last longer?
