YES!!! This episode features the one segment I’ve kind of been after; the haunted house “that” segment with Rita and Judy. Always remembered them looking at a ghost, upon opening the double doors, Judy removing the sheet and exclaiming “That’s THAT!” upon seeing the word “that.” Seems I remember it went on a couple more seconds-Judy running over to Rita for safety as another haunted house noise was then heard.
Anyone have or remember this other haunted house segment also featuring Rita and Judy (I think) go to look for a 🦇 bat, only when they hear it coming and they bug it out of there, it turns out to be a baseball bat? (obviously as the joke), and cute pun on bat. That also would be great to see again.
Episodes 10, 12, and 14 are on the Shout Factory DVD's (I own both sets), so it's great to find a few "missing links" from the very early episodes, even if they are the edited Noggin versions. 1:59--Bill Cosby as the Mad Scientist! In later episodes, Morgan Freeman played this character, and Luis Avalos (who didn't join the cast until season 2) was his assistant Igor. 6:53--The show had a lot of baseball-themed skits, and I don't recall ever seeing this one before. 8:17--Otto the Director was hilarious! 11:30--Bill Cosby (or another cast member) playing a word game with kids on the street was a somewhat regular feature in season 1, which was later dropped. 13:20--A catchy Short Circus ditty with my name in it! 16:00--I love the way they replaced "candy" with the made-up word "furpo" in this Fargo North skit! A later skit features Big Bird from Sesame Street calling Fargo--what else?--"Furpo!" 22:25--These sing-along sign songs were a lot of fun--and I love the way they spoofed this one at 24:30!
Early Easy Reader, when he was still in his Jimi Hendrix phase. (He's at least partially named after the Hendrix song Ezy Rider, which may or may not have been inspired by the film Easy Rider)
Nice! Can you do 176 next? That one has the letter T, which transitions into the consonant blend -NT (as in "cent"), the vowel pair EA (as in neat), the ending -ALK, silent E with I, and quotation marks.
I grew up watching the electric company.thanks.😘

Before he was Dr. Huxtable, Cosby was a MAD doctor.
