      Thats why "Red Dawn" and "Fugue in Red" are such great episodes.
      They show the transition and give a glimpse of ol jane.

      Mentalist spares the filler-padding and concentrates on the neccessary. That makes it great.

      @@angel-kitty-inuyasha You should observe his eyes. If they move his right he is accessing the right part of the brain (creative) to invent a lie. If he doesn't move his eyes he is telling the truth or he is a very good liar.

      @@mervel6737 They also have alot of similarities. They both wear 3 piece suits, they both read minds, they worked with the FBI as consultants, and their tv titles both have the word "list" in it.

    What is the music at the end of this scene? It sounds so good and unique. I can't find it anywhere. Maybe it was composed by Neely but, only for this scene and isn't considered a "song"?

      I've been looking for it as well, but to no avail. At first, I thought it could be an extended version of the soundtrack used in S3E3, but someone would have uploaded the full version if that was the case.

      In this show, one plot was to replace an entires man ammunition with fake shells....
      This wouldn't have happened.

    I don't see any point here why he used his intelligent, because when the cop said " what the hell are you talking about " Jane replied well how did you know what I was thinking about , It dont make sense there , so he just Provoked the cop and the cop got scared and tense and so said the truth otherwise if he smart not even Jane could make him talk out and tell the truth ...

    Whilst I liked the concept of this show, the scripts were sooooo cornball and just unbelievable. Most likely aimed at an immature audience.
