I love your thorough colourpop reviews! I feel like you are the only one that takes drugstore palette reviews as seriously as luxury ones. I really appreciate that.
I actually really appreciate when you do tutorial looks and don’t do the liner and mascara/lashes! Sometimes I feel like others use them to cover up an eye look and make it look better than it is, but when you show is this way, it’s really nice to actually see how the shadows are performing and have no distractions.

Yes colourpop does have very good prices and most of the time very good products. But, a bad product is bad no matter what the price. And I want to know truthfully how something performs before spending my money. A dollar spent on something I'm not going to get use out of is still a dollar wasted.
The great part is that they are usually removable. For instance I get rid of all the glitters in my palettes and replace them with shades from another. I wish they would sell the mini shadows.
@@teacheschem I do this with these bigger palettes. I had a Modern Mattes from BH that I changed all 28 colors for Looxie/Devinah/Sydneygrace shadows when I realized I was allergic to dimethicone.
I seriously could watch you blend shadow ALL DAY. Seriously, you are sooooo crazy talented. My gosh, every time I see you blend a shadow for every look im always Mesmerized❤❤❤

Mel, ya breaking mah heart lady! I ordered this 11/30 and I’m still eagerly waiting on it, although less eagerly now that I’ve seen your review. I’m sure I’ll still get a good $30 use out of it. I was hoping it would turn out to be an expanded Coconuts palette bc I adore that little thing. BTW, I do not consider ColourPop “drugstore” as many are calling it in comments. It’s the only non-luxe shadows I’ll buy and that’s because my (admittedly limited) experience with them has been that the quality is on par with my other palettes. Yes, the price is lower, but overall, the shadow quality isn’t. Sure there are misses, but I’ve found that with every brand. Okay okay, I can’t say I’ve experienced a Pat miss, but I only have one of her palettes simply bc her color stories are just TOO.. for me to personally wear usually. So I’m very glad you include CP in your repertoire of brand reviews. But seriously, WTH is your code? Come on ColourBomb (RBK), this is one cool chick you don’t want to skip! ❤️❤️
Just got it yesterday too and immediately get a look and was so disappointed. I’m just going to depot the good ones and dump the rest sadly. There are some good ones so you can get some locks it’s just really powdery

To me, for the price, even if only a majority of the shadows work, its worth it. I don’t use a ton of colors in my looks, so this palette works for me.

I just found Bailey and I love her!!! I have had this palette for a week or 2& I love it. I love it as a stand alone and it works well with other palettes especially the JackieA. palette from ABH.
I would have jumped in, on this pallet, but, because I already have all or most of the neutral or neutral leaning brownish, rosy and burgundy pallets. Going Coconuts, Double Entendre, Give it to me Straight, You Had me at Hello, and Fem Rosa have all these colors and have no issues. If some of these are discontinued, there are, or will be new pallets with those shades, next week. Too bad you had issues with this one. It seemed like such a good pallet for beginners or those without much of an eyeshadow collection. Great review and looks as usual. As usual, love your reviews and looks.

Oh how I wish I had waited for your review! I always wait to see what you think before making a purchase but I went for it with the Black Friday 30% off sale and it’s en route. I have the other two palettes and love them. I can’t stop wearing the Going Coconuts palette. It’s so gorgeous!
My goodness! You have the most perfect eyebrows. I used to have them but spent my youth in the 90's when the trend was to pluck them so thin. I am still to this day trying to grow them back out. I advice all young girls not to follow trends because they come and go and you may lose what the good Lord gave you. And just on another note, I used to live in Tennessee but now live in Munich, Germany and I can't believe how much more snow you are getting than us this season!
I bought this palette on Black Friday and I really like it. I don't own any other colourpop palettes besides the yellow and purple monochromatic ones, so this is like having Double Entendre, Going Coconuts, Give it to me straight etc.all in one palette for $30, which was totally worth it. Honestly, I don't have any palette in my collection (mostly luxury brands) that's perfect, they all have their pros and cons.

Thank-you for sharing your experience with this palette. Big palettes aren't for me, so I don't think that I'll be missing out. No shade to other's, simply trust your opinion a lot. If it doesn't perform for you, it won't work for me as an unskilled makeup enthusiast. ❤🐞
I would like to see the comparisons with the bare nessesities vs, bouqet of neurtrals. Its the 3 palletes making mauves, Nude mood and blush crush. that would be interesting to see if it would be worth it to buy the 3 vs. the one palette. How they compare on shades as well. Thanks

Mel - I am fairly new - so I am sure you have gone over this. But can you tell me what you have underneath your eyes when you are putting on your eye shadow's and what the purpose is. THANK YOU!!!!!
She's baking. It's pretty much just setting powder lightly pressed under her eye to set the makeup and prevent creases and by doing her eye makeup while she bakes, any fallout is caught by the powder and you can easily brush it off without compromising the foundation underneath.

My goodness! You have the most perfect eyebrows. I used to have them but spent my youth in the 90's when the trend was to pluck them so thin. I am still to this day trying to grow them back out. I advice all young girls not to follow trends because they come and go and you may lose what the good Lord gave you. And just on another note, I used to live in Tennessee but now live in Munich, Germany and I can't believe how much more snow you are getting than us this season!
I bought this palette on Black Friday and I really like it. I don't own any other colourpop palettes besides the yellow and purple monochromatic ones, so this is like having Double Entendre, Going Coconuts, Give it to me straight etc.all in one palette for $30, which was totally worth it. Honestly, I don't have any palette in my collection (mostly luxury brands) that's perfect, they all have their pros and cons.

As for the palette, it looks so gorgeous on you. I hesitated back and forth whether I'll buy it it not.. I just don't think I need a 30 shade palette even though some of the shades are really nice.

I would like to see the comparisons with the bare nessesities vs, bouqet of neurtrals. Its the 3 palletes making mauves, Nude mood and blush crush. that would be interesting to see if it would be worth it to buy the 3 vs. the one palette. How they compare on shades as well.

If you have smaller eyes, use smaller brushes but they can still be some fluff the them to get a good blend ❤️😘

Mel - I am fairly new - so I am sure you have gone over this. But can you tell me what you have underneath your eyes when you are putting on your eye shadow's and what the purpose is. THANK YOU!!!!!
She's baking. It's pretty much just setting powder lightly pressed under her eye to set the makeup and prevent creases and by doing her eye makeup while she bakes, any fallout is caught by the powder and you can easily brush it off without compromising the foundation underneath.
