I’m a returning player, the hardest part is trading, knowing the value of everything, like I found Vex and I need 2 mal, but I’ve got told that it’s a big downgrade for me, how do you know what is stuff worth? Both downgrading runes and uniques?

It takes 2 mal to make an ist. So you can see you're getting less than half the value of a vex.
imagine farming a day normal cows to get a 4socket crystal sword and shield. 1 day later someone told me max sockets in normal a 3. blizzard rly did it. they turned already a bad game into a worse state :D
You've never been able to find a 4os item in normal. Only ever able to use the socket quest from Larzuk. This is and how it has always been prior to D2R.
The truth is that what motivated me to play in Ladder was to complete the new runewords and at the time the Gcs Sunder and take them to non-ladder, that was my "internal competition", no trading, just completing them alone as if it were a challenge, Now that there is nothing for half a year it doesn't make sense for me to play in Ladder, it's a little sad but hey, if I waited more than 10 years for a rework it's nothing to wait a few more months 🥲
I agree. It's disappointing they didn't do anything for the new season. Most of their changes have been really good imo. Just a couple of mistakes in those changes :)

Any crystal sword that drops from cows normal can be socketed at larzuk with 4 os edit: broad sword aswell
