I used to absolutely LOVE those trains when I was 3-6 years old and whenever I watch a video that I saw in 1st grade I get so nostalgic and get so many nostalgic memories!
So cool to see these old steamers up and running. Hope they'll keep running for a long time to come. A couple of them were coming down some pretty scary tracks and wobbling left and right. Thought they just might come off the tracks. Ha.
I have loved steam engines ever since I was a little boy and it doesn't matter if it's a steam engine on a tractor or a locomotive or anything in between I love steam engines
One of the members with the NYSWTHS here - the restoration is chugging along currently. Big appliances have been and will be going on. Hopefully coming back into service this year, but it's all just a matter of time, resources, and man power.
