This is lovely. The La Folia I learned a few years ago is the severely annotated and chopped Suzuki version. Do you know where I could purchase a full copy, or at least how to tell if a version I'm purchasing has all of the variations Corelli intended? Thanks again for the beautiful rendition!

@RisikoBass Gentilissimo, la Sarabanda che lei cita è il quarto movimento della suite in re minore per clavicembalo, reso celebre dal film "Barry Lyndon" di Stanley Kubrick. Il brano è basato proprio sul tema della Follia, che deriva da un'antica danza popolare di origine iberica e che è stato utilizzato da numerosi compositori come spunto per variazioni. Le più celebri sono quelle composte da Corelli (cui si riferisce il video) e da Vivaldi. Un saluto, SR
