Thanks for watching..... Yes we can use BIW Templates but its not preferable option when it comes to parametric modelling....if it is a development part then better not to use those templates as they ask inputs every time you update the Part.
You dont want trim side by side, surface radius is more faster. and your left edge is not stright. That is fals part. Split on Plane 5mm from left edge.

customer or vehicle inputs majorly depends on styling, mounting concept, packaging and strength requirement.

it needs separate license to use it most of the organization don't have these license
