Yes Nnewi don't kill Eke nor eat them, but there is no punishment at this time, for people that kill Eke or eat Eke in Nnewi. The old man is speaking from the past.
We also sell Ewi to people that eats them. He should be kind enough to let people know that what he is saying are myths. If an Nnewi man eat Ewi, nothing happens to him.
