In my opinion, although Sydnie’s performance (after a mere three days’ preparation, apparently) may not quite reach the technical excellence of Loren’s, its emotional intensity and impact are the greater. Loren’s version makes me sigh, but Sydnie’s makes me cry - and that makes all the difference.
As a professional vocal teacher and director, comparing these two phenomenal vocal artists is like comparing the colors green and blue. Which is better? It comes down to style and taste. Both are highly trained. Both possess the "wow" factor. For me, Loren has a clean, bright tone; and Sydnie has a guttural, throaty sound. Stylistically, they are fairly similar. I like both performances for different reasons. Both women are extremely talented. Who is better? Right...
Every generation has incredible female singers. Twenty years ago it was Celine. Now, in America, we have Loren. In Britain, they have Sydnie. Each one was terrific, but you can't say one was better than the other.
I have a clear favourite, which I am going to keep to myself, but I understand they are planning to sing together quite soon. Their voices are so different but I can imagine them sounding incredible together. I can’t wait.
Prefer Sydnie Christmas. Her voice clearer especially she hits the high notes cleared. Apart from that her stage presence and appearance to me so much better. Go Sydnie.
Love both equally as they are both humble and supportive. Loren is Sydnie’s idol, and Loren will be performing with Andrea Bocelli in London on July 5th. Let’s hope they get together during the time that she is there.
2 different voices. Besides, I've always had a bit of an issue that Loren felt the need to go to BGT instead of AGT. She should have done her breakout at home. Still, they're both great voices. Sidnie didn't have Lorens background either. She did it 100% on her own.

As far as I'm concerned, it was a definite tie. They both sang it from their heart and it sounded magnificent from both of them

Breath taking can't chose loved both.
Sydnie's vocals have a greater and cleaner range, while Loren's, especially in high notes, can seem strained.
That's why I choose Sydnie.
