This reminds me of what I used to do: build/fix my bikes & then go out and thrash on them. I used to always do that & I loved it. This is such nostalgia, I need to go back to doing that. That way you can just take care of everything yourself & it there's something you want different or something you can just do it, or you don't have to worry about anything, cause you know you can just fix it or that you have done a 💯 job; no bad parts etc -> so you can be confident in whatever you're riding.
I even remember taking stuff apart just to basically learn hands on & exactly how stuff is working. I loved that. So much passion in learning like this. I should start looking into my car; how everything works there. Of course staying safe...
i gotta tip for straighening bars get a scooter stand on your fromw wheel lay it down with your bars on the ground deck on the side push hard and then get them both flat (stand and bars) and then tighten while there still laying there

When your are tightening your bars put your scoot upside down and tighten your clamp as much as you can with you hands and if You want it real tight you your feet not upside down

IHC compression uses a bolt to keep the shim tight on top of the headset dust cap which presses down on the pinch ring under it.

Logan Macintyre since you're forks are standard oversized bars won't fit so you need oversized forks as well or stay with standard bars
-KhyeMate- but since the bars are aluminum aren't the bars thicker so they have the same inner diameter as standard bars
you can because Aluminum bars like reapers need Standard for but Oversized clamp. So make sure your clamp can run OVERSIZED BARS.
