For the same reason bands like Strawberry Girls, Hail The Sun, pulses., Picturesque, Alive Like Me, Idlehands and many others aren't big. A combination of media/press overlooking them and being on labels that don't have large enough fan followings, which collectively minimize their scope of gaining traction.
I'm not a musician, but i'm a trully music lover, and as someone who listen to lots of different types of songs, I always think something like that: "I wish I could create something beautiful If I was a musician", and this music makes feel exactly like you've said
I can now live vicariously through this song then listen to "salty" right after. I am now complete.
